A year is nothing. Both people are at the same level of maturity and the same points in life. after about 5 years difference, people will start having diametrically different perspectives on their roles and goals in life. For example. A young girl who dates a much older man may still be looking at starting a family but the old man wants to find a retirement home and not be tied down with kids. A lot depends upon the individuals involves as to whether or not the relationship will fold based upon age differences.

a year is nothing. There is 10 years between my husband and my self. I have to say I found the man of my dreams. I feel that there should be a line that you don't cross however there people that have a bigger age span that are very happy. I is a personal choice. But one year or even 2 or more isn't bad it is what works for you.

really it depends on the ages. One year isnt really a big deal at any age. For example though i am 21 and my fiance is 29 at that age thats not that big of a deal because we are at the same point in our lives (wanting to settle and start a fmaily) and maturaty wise. If you love a person there isnt really and age restriction as long as both are over...i would say 20. good luck to you

depends on how old you are --- both over 18 its not an issue at all --- under 18 it may be a legal issue and in both cases its possible to have a long term stable relationhship --- 12 months is not really an age difference

No one year is nothing, and when both parties are grown age is just a number.

no... its not a big deal at all... my bf and I are three years apart and get along really well. we are 20 and 23. even if you are 14 and 15 years old, its not a big deal.

i think age difference when you're grown really isnt important if you both are on the same level mentally....and no a yr isnt...

Pretty much no matter what age you are at it would be fine, dont worry about it.
