There was this guy I’ve been head over heels in love with for such a long time. My best friend knew how much I cared for him and she kind of served as a wingman for me. I finally started dating him. We had been dating a day or so more than a week and on Halloween night, my best friend took him home from work and he kissed her. She was sitting on his couch at the time. In fact, she went back to him for more the next day. She didn’t tell me about it. She was going to lie to me, but I pulled the truth out of her when we had gone to a concert together. The next morning we met up with him and all three of us talked. Now, my “boyfriend” was polyamorous, so him seeing another woman wasn’t really a shocker; however she was my best friend. I put my foot down and said, “Her or me” basically, and he chose her. She completely shoved my feelings aside and now they’re dating. I feel like I was shoved under the bus. She’s known for so long how strongly I felt for him and then she did this to me.

My mom, Mary, was married to a man in the seventies by the name of Kenny Thurston and I don’t know where he is. The reason I am writing is because she pasted away April30, 1984 I was quite young at that time, I was only 17, and to top that off I have six brothers and sisters and we where split up in 1970’s. I don’t remember actually what year it was because I was too young, I don’t know what happen between them. All I do know is I am trying to remember her, the memories have faded and I don’t know if they are even real ones or not. If you know this man that was married to my mother and you can help me find him it would meen the wourld to me. I hope he can answer my qustions.

Everytime i talk to my mom about going out with friends.. my girls she always suspects that i am going out to hang with guys.. even though i have never done anything to betray her trust. she is just getting on my nerves.. i constantly have to sneak out just to go out with my friends.. i hate making up lies to tell her or to either my friends of why i cant go out with them.. it sucks.. she doesnt understand.. i can even talk to her about these things seriously because she thinks im lying to her all the time.. i have no room to talk because she is the one that does all the talking.. btw im 17

I'm 21 and getting married in April of next year. My first two offers were right after I got engaged back in April of this year. My maid of honor has just mentioned about a month ago throwing me one and we have been best friends for about 9 years now. Today at work I had on a shirt with a scooped neck. My shoulders are very small, so sometimes my shirt ventures off my shoulder a little bit. Today I was walking along to go back to my desk when I almost ran into one of the guys I work with. I noticed that he kind of glanced down and back up again. When I got back to the desk, I noticed that my bra strap was showing. I don't know if it was showing at the time I ran into my co-worker or not, or if he was just glancing at what I had in my hand (and mouth which was a straw and drink). Would that bother you if you saw another co-worker's bra strap? Also I notice that my pantyline was very much showing, and I wear bikini style, because I think thongs are slutty. Is this kind of thing annoying to you too?

I consider myself is good judge of character and mental status. I can generally spot a nut ball from a distance. But, like most humans with feelings, I sometimes fall for the wrong type of man! This happened ALOT when I was younger, but now that I am more mature, I understand how to recognize the traits I want in a partner. But, despite my maturity, I have failed at accumulating male friends or partners who are actually honorable or decent. Before I die, I would like to say that I met one guy who wasn't a liar, game player, cheater, or damaged (sociopath).

I don't care for bad boys, but I think I sort of look 'good girl-ish' and that attracts damaged guys. Enviromnment can also be a stumbling block. That's part of my problem as well....

Can you GOOD guys/ nice guys give me more prespective on how to recognize a good / nice guy? Feel free to use lists, or mention traits you have within yourself that you consider honorable in character, things that make you a good guy... thanks :)
