I just got my dress tonight and I tried it on and the top is too big! It's a halter style top and I was wondering if maybe the button holes that hold the straps on could be moved down more to keep my top up. But then wouldn't it bunch up and gap? I just need someone to take in the top of the top so it will stay up. The wedding is Jan 19th, 08, do you think it will be done in time? I need help.


Oh and what is the experience like getting it altered?

My friend's soon to be ex filed for divorce and he was served the divorce papers toward the end of August. He didn't contest anything but we're wondering how long it will take before the initial hearing.

Also, when is a divorce final in California? Is it 6 months after he was served the papers or 6 months after the hearing?

like when i got home i saw that she had been crying and i didnt think anything about it.

well just about 5 minutes ago her and rodney came out of the bedroom and she started punching him in the back and i thought they were kidding but she kept punching him all the way till they got in the kitchen and when she stopped she went back into her room and slammed the door like really hard.

my husband is a full time student and employer, my baby is 1 year, his mum lives with us, am very sensitive i don't stand judjments,and she is very judgemental. me &my husband don't have the privacy of being intemite ,not even have the time for it, our conversations always end up with a fight,i feel like he's started to feel annoyed because of me and my sensitivity, i can't help being serious,and i don't feel excited for anything ,nothing makes me feel happy whatsoever.i feel bored with everything, sometimes i feel like i need to go far far away but i have no choice to do so.is there any recipe for being happy and interested in life and how to get my husband back to me???????????

I'm probably 2 decades older than most of you. I was looking for family issues and ran across a ton of boy/girl issues and this is what I know:
1. Many issues can be solved by the person writing.
2. There is an absence of personel/interpersonal
relationship skills.
3. Confusion
4. Sex is not a virtue
5. Girls complain of unresponsive guy who make no
advances in asking for a date.
Okay, this is not to condemn, but I find through the writers that the boy/girl issues are stressful, and if at possible maybe I can be of help. What do you think? Please don't reply if you are going to be rude.

Okay. Here's the deal. I know my mom has been having relations with men for money. And its really hurting me inside. She doesn't know that I know. And I have so much proof. Gross texts, e-mails, phone calls. Also, I know how it started. Her friend, whos a huge slu.. you know...well she brought her to it. She knows this lady who is basicly selling other women. So she told my mother about it. And since then my mom hasn't been home. She acts so weird, and she ignores me and my little sister. My little sister doesnt know, and i hope she never does. I hate my mom for doing this to me. And no i wont call the cops. what should i do. im so so hurt. i use to look up to my mother, and now i dont. and thats not the worsed of it, she even dates married men, for money of course. i love her, and i need her to stop, because shes sinning, and shes making me hate her. what should i do?

I have this friend in my health class I just met him this year and we've become pretty close. He acts a bit girly and all his friends are girls, but hey I just thought he prefered haning with us more. He's a bit of an outcast to the boys but he is really nerdy looking and hates sports (which are a big deal in my skool). But lately he's been showing me pictures of yaoi (guy on guy sex) that he drew (he's really good) and asks me what I think of them. And he straightend his hair for skool yesterday (he has natural curls) is this normal behavior for guys or is my friend gay? Should I ask him and risk offending him??!

My husband's sister just left her spouse. They are getting a divorce. The problem is she is seeing somebody already. Her husband is being very generous in the divorce because he has no idea about the cheating. I feel that it is wrong for this to be happening. She is a drunk (supposedly recovering) and has treated him like crap for years. She has ruined their credit. And it just kills me that once again she is screwing him over. While I do think he is an idiot for putting up with this for all these years, he still was a good husband to her. If I did tell him, I would do it anonymously. My husband agrees that he should be told but we do know for sure. I know that he would stand up for himself more in the divorce if he knew all the facts. They have 2 teenage kids living with him. She has stated that she doesn't want the kids to stay with her. Why should she get any support from him if she has a new man to take care of her and she won’t have the kids?
