my mom is freaking out?

Question

like when i got home i saw that she had been crying and i didnt think anything about it.

well just about 5 minutes ago her and rodney came out of the bedroom and she started punching him in the back and i thought they were kidding but she kept punching him all the way till they got in the kitchen and when she stopped she went back into her room and slammed the door like really hard.

what should i do?

to be honest im kinda scared that somethings gonna happen.

Is Rodney ur stepdad? Try not to get involved, but if it turns into something where ur mom gets hurt, then u need to call someone.

Well it sounds like Rodney did your Mom some wrong.
It sounds pretty serious too.

I am so sorry you had to witness that.

I guess things are going to get pretty intense in your home for the next little while, and it's very likely that there are going to be some changes.

As a daughter in this situation, I hope that you will remember two very important things.

1) None of this is about you. It's not your fault, and there's nothing you could have done to prevent it.

2) Your mom loves you very much.

Try and stay out of the way, but stay home if you can until she can speak to you. Whatever is going on is between them and you are probably more scared as you have no idea what its all about. Do you have someone you can trust you can speak to or even go to if necessary? I don't mean a school friend, I mean an older relative (aunt/grandparent/or a godmother?). She's obviously very upset with him but she shouldn't be scaring you and shutting you out.
If you can't get her to have any kind of reasonable conversation with you, decide which family member you can call for help. I do hope this blows over, but if it doesn't don't try and cope alone. Talk to people you can trust, they will support you. Good luck!

This same thing goes on between my mom and her bf so I of all people know wat 2 do.1st off go and try 2 tlk wit ur mom if she doesn't let u in or blows u off keep ur distance of her and her bf.If a fight does break out find a phone (even if their both cops) and call the cops. I know u don't want 2 watch ur mom go 2 jail or get in a fight but if they do then keep ur distance cause when couples r fighting they will more than likely hurt anything and everyone in their path trust me i know from experience!Just stay back find a phone weather it's from ur house or a neighbors and call the Law.If more help needed keep on postin questions and I'll be there 2 help wit answers

Call your moms best-friend, or a trusted relative if you can think of someone rational who wont aggravate the situation. If it gets worse, you may have to call the police, but first I'd try a friend or family member that can come and talk to your mom.

Call 911 who cares if tehy are both cops dosen't give them the right to beat on each other

Knock on her door and say "Hey mom? You OK? I'm kinda worried about you....."

No one knows what's going on but her. By you showing concern and telling her that you're worried, she might open up to you.

Sounds like he cheated on her or is leaving her.Does she usually act that way when she is upset?
