In most cases it is the easy and cowards way out. It seems like people don't listen or take the marriage vows seriously.
But there are justifiable reasons for divorce. I also feel if people were able to be more honest with themselves about their future spouses before the ceremony, there would be less need for divorce.
Good luck.

That is not an option in our marriage. We got married for better or worse and took our vows very seriously. We never thing "divorce", it is always how can we work this out so that we both win! Marriage is until death do you part. People should realize this instead of spending all there time planing a wedding that last one day instead of spending that much time making sure you want to be with this person no matter what life throws at you. So my opinion of divorce is that is it wrong and taking the easy way out.

that depends upon the situation. As a general rule, counseling should be tried first unless there is abuse, physical or mental, or one partner does refuse to go to counseling. Many Christians will say divorce is never an option and quote the line "for better or worse" but the whole concept of religion is forgiveness of sins and that can include divorce since if we consider divorce a sin it is far better than many other sins many commit including, for example, child molestations by priests. Divorce can be considered I think an emotional eraser and can and should be used from time to time to erase mistakes just as we use a pencil eraser on paper to erase mistakes.

I think when 2 people stand before God and family and friends and take their wedding vows, they should take it very seriously.. I believe that some times divorce is the easy way out and people are just too lazy to try to work on their problems...I think it should be a law that a couple has to go to counseling before a divorce is granted, that way, maybe more and more people will try to save their marriage..I bet you if it was mandatory, more couples could save their love for one another.

divorce should only happen if betrayed, you've been physically abused, or mentally. as it will effect your whole life and how u see your future. divorce means failure to some and does effect ones self worth and ego's. if theres any chance of working it out it is always best to do it that way, but it requires two and if both don't want the same thing its useless to even try to convince the other person. divorce destroys the heart, steals your joy, and all u have worked on and invested in. theres no way it won't effect ones future and how they see life.

My opinion on divorce.....Divorce rates are high..and it is easier to obtain a divorce then what it use to be.....Sometimes people are too quick to divorce...while others stay in an extremely unhealthy marriages that should have ended years earlier.....

While there are sometimes good reasons for divorce, it is often an easier out than having the spine to work on the issues. One guys opinion.

I think that divorce is sometimes better than the alternative.
In my opinion, the following would be acceptable reasons for divorce:
Physical, mental, emotional, or psychological abuse.
A loveless or sexless marriage.
Infidelity.
Lying, especially about money, or property, or identity.

there is nothing bad about divorce if there is no other way out. when people get married they definitely not thinking about divorce, but sometimes it turns to be a mistake or very fast decision, so divorce is the only way out.
