i recently split up with my childs father, we had been together for 3+ years and it hasn't been the best relationship especially after i had our baby, for near enough this whole year its been a constant battle to try and work on it and i had finally had enough when he humilated me in front of his family and argued with my mother, i have been on my own for about a week and have felt better about myself in such a long time but i see my ex everyday still for our childs sake and he is so sad about everything and now i feel guilty and sorry for him, we have split up before and i've took him back thinking he's changed but after a couple of days its back to angry tantrums etc, im torn at what to do? do i take him back on the faith he's calmed down and learned his mistakes or do i get on with my life and concentrate on me and my child?

There was one time when he was hanging up the phone and I heard a girl ask, who he was talking to. He denied the whole thing. There was another time I thought I heard a girl's voice giggling and he sounded uncomfortable. Is he a player?

I'm in my late forties and married for 20 years. It seems like once a women meets my wife they will start to hit on me hard, even in front of her, I never flirt with other women but women in there 20s and 30s will do or say anything to get me out with them. They will flirt before they meet her. but after that they get way out of control.

My husband died recently and left me with a step-daughter that I love dearly. I am the only mother she has ever known and would never abandon her. I believe she has a right to know her family, I am considering moving with her to Kentucky. I would do almost anything for this child.

The problem is for whatever reason, she wants me to make a promise to "never" become involved with another man. Now, how am I suppose to make such a promise? Her father and I discussed what we would want for the other person should either of us die before the other. Both of us expressed a desire for the other person not to live out their golden year alone. It has only been 4 months since my husband died and I miss him dearly. How do I convince my girl that even if somewhere down the road someone came into my life, he would never take the place of her father? How do I convince her that should that happen, he couldn't usurp her position in my life? Why would she ask such a thing when I'm not looking?

It takes beauty to be a high mantainance "gold digger", BUT I have found that many beautiful women are just as beautiful on the inside.

I know guys are attracted to beauty. I certainly KNOW that first hand!!! But is it "what's inside" that counts even more???

Has a beautiful lady hurt you?

Do you feel you are "lowering your standards", when you go for inner beauty?

Why are we so guilty of "LOOKSism"?

Doesn't inner beauty grow?

Doesn't outer beauty fade?!?

Ladies and Gentlemen,.

Let's be honest, most of our significant others will give us something... what do you hope to recieve?

Also... ladies, how would you feel about a set of dishware, nice silverware, or a coffee maker?

Please note your gender if it is not apparent by your avatar.

Thanks,

Wildflower

I like it when I guy makes a subtle grown or two while we're doing it...but if he was moaning and screaming the whole time I would be freaked out!!! So could it be the same from the man's point of view with a woman...can it be annoying and embarrassing...Could the man view it as a challenge if the girl doesn’t make a peep? I’ve always wondered about this!!!????

I personally think I am doing extremely well in life. I simply want to find out if the nasty and/or jealous comments I receive on a daily basis are common or simply isolated incidents.
First, the love life. I am a single, straight, 28 year old male. I have never had a girlfriend or even my first yet. I did, however go on a grand total of 2 dates in my entire life, which all took place when I was 23 (5 years ago). People tell me that this is socially and/or psychologically unhealthy. I simple don't have the time or true interest to find a mate at this point. What do you think about the comments people make such as the aforementioned ones?

Second, my professional life and living arrangements. I am currently employed full time and go to grad school part time. I will soon quit my job to focus on getting one more suited to my education once I graduate, which will be very soon. My loss of income will be supplemented by my parents who will keep me at the current living standard.

Would a guy like it if his girl bought lingerie for herself as HIS birthday gift? I found some really, really sexy little lingerie and I was thinking about buying it and wearing it for my man for his birthday. Because I asked his buddy and his buddy made that suggestion. I like the idea, but as a girl, it seems like a really self concieted gift. However, his buddy said my man will love it. Guys, is this true? Or would you be pissed if some girl did that for your birthday? I just want him to have a good time...ya know!?

My husband and I have been married a year and a half. To make a long story short my parents and i do not get along. A counselor i went to said that they were 'dysfunctional.' The summer i met my husband, my parents did not allow me to come home from college. I had to work a maintance job and pay 1500 to stay in the dorms.
When i got married, my parents at first agreed to pay for 3 out of the four years of tuition. Then they took it back, saying they would not help out anymore after the two years.
In short, my parents were not at allll perfect. They had their flaws. My husband is now saying that if i begin talking to them again (I have not for almost a year) he would divorce me.
When i said that i would take his money if he divorced me for that reason, he said he would kill me. I know this is A LOT... but I just want some opinions on the matter. It causes me a lot of stress, and I do not know what to think.

One evening, my roommate was getting ready for a date. She came out of her room and said "No one sells cute panties anymore!" I told her to look at Victorias Secrets. She went into her room and then came back out slamming 3 pairs of cotton briefs in country floral pattern on the sofa where I was sitting and said "See? These are cute! Where can I find cute ones like these?" They were not even remotely cute. I just reiterated to try VS. She went back to her room and came back out and asked "What size panties to you wear?" I was stunned to a silence. I stuttered a bit but before I could say anything, she interrupted "Your hips are wider than mine and I'm a size small so you must be a medium" and then she went back into her room. I was stunned by the rude comment as well as the strange request. Was she thinking of borrowing my panties?? (She's probably seen them drying in the basement - and they are cute IMHO). ;) Also, she's not the type to undress on a first date. Any ideas???

Need someone's advice. MIL moved in yesterday... after being dramatic and crying that she was intruding, to which of course we convince her that she wasn't. Anyway, she slept on the guest bed last night, and by the time I woke up this morning, she (with her stuff) was gone. No note, nothing. She's apparently decided to stay with my fiance's sister in her studio apartment. What the heck is she thinking? I'm not thrilled she's moving in in the first place, but after having begged, we acquiesced; and then made accommodations (physical and mental) for her. What's the deal!?!

Me and three girls are getting our hair done for my wedding. The hairstylist is charging $55 per girl and $75 for travel, she has to drive about an 45 min each way.

In a situation like this, do you tip the hairstylist? I kind of feel like since I am paying for her travel time and gas, that it wouldn't be necessary but maybe I am wrong.

Please don't say ask her. The answer will be "tips are not required but appreciated". I want to know what most people do.

Yes, sounds pretty lame... Why would I marry someone with such major issues? Because we share a lifetime of history, young children who need us both, & when he's good, its great. I've heard of wives tolerating husbands affairs for sake of the children & on the other hand staying in the relationship may cause more harm. I've experienced both sides thru out the years & now this is where I ended up. He keeps converting to the person I adore everytime I start to pack my bags. Then shortly after, its the s.o.s. Because I'm all about keeping our family happy together it wears me out! Tending to everyones needs @ once is pretty tough to juggle. Maybe if he was more active @ home than elsewhere I'd have more time for him too. (Lately I've been feeling a bit vengeful. Especially by an offer made from a client @ work. But I chickened out cause I wouldn't want to make things alot worse.) I try my best to stay optomistic. Yet could use more input.

When me and my husband were dating (we had bin dating for just over a year) his sister was getting married the same day as my cousin in AZ. So I had to go with my family to her wedding. While I was gone my now husband had a party for his sister the night before the wedding and that night he got drunk and so did this girl he use to like and she was dancing all over him and he was dancing with her to and helped her because she was "so drunk" and he ended up kissing her and freaking on her most of the night. Now my problem is I have moved on and tried to forgive and forget about it. But this girl is best friends with my husband’s sisters and so they constantly are trying to do stuff with her and inviter to go places that we are already going. I don’t like this girl at all I see red every time I see her. And so to try to keep the peace I stay away and don’t go places if I know she is going to be their. But my husband gets annoyed because he wants to do stuff with his family.

My husband is in the army National guard and has been deployed to Iraq for 3 months now. His ex just requested to have his child support orders reviewed. He will be home sometime next spring and go back to working his normal job which pays a lot less. Will the courts go off his money he makes from the guard? This is not his full time job he only does the two weeks a year and one weekend a month thing, it just so happened that his unit was chosen to be deployed. He already pays a ton now.
