My girlfriends ex-boyfriend is a really great guy. God I hate to say it but it's true. He is really great. He has done all these neat things, saved peoples lives, and has been present to some pretty historical events. The guy is a regular superman and I'm only Clark Kent. HOW CAN I COMPETE WITH THAT?!?!?!?!?
Oh I almost forgot, he has is own darn web page detailing all the really neat things he has done.

Well, unless you're figuring on dating him, what would it matter? He's him, you're you, it's not a competition. If she wanted to date him she'd be with him, not calling him her 'ex', right? So don't sweat it.
Besides, people exagerate on web pages. Nobody believes everything posted online.

You don't have to compete, you said it yourself he is her Ex, so there was something wrong or they would still be together.
Just be yourself and hopefully everything will all work out for you.
