to get to the other one. my bf always expects me to get rides to see him cause he got a dui and cant drive. he gets mad when i cant. isnt the dude place to come pick up his girl or am i too old fashioned?

i understand he has a DUI and cant dirve but it sounds liek you arent driving for some reason either . .now if you were dribign and had a car id say its just easier for you to drive but you said you get rides . so if you can get a ride so can he . . with neither of you having transportaion . you should ahsre responsibilty untill the situation changes

I'm not sure if you have a licence so I'll assume you don't,
sounds like he definitely should be making more of an effort to get to see you even with a DUI.He can always ride a bus or get a cab....nothing would keep me from my baby!
Side note; DUI guys are mainly losers anyway so don't get your hopes up too high. :)

Yeah it's both, but look at the circumstance. If you drove more you might have a DUI too. You never know. For the time being , bend eh. What's he supposed to do, send a cab. Come on.

I would agree with you normally, but since he can't drive, because he got a dui that changes the rules a bit.

i can rarely get rides to my boyfriends,
he usually comes and picks me up;
but when i can, i get a ride

If you want to see each other it doesn't really matter either way. If he can't get to you then go see him. I don't really see the big deal.
