My husband dated a gal eleven years ago. He has told me that he fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. When he asked her, she rejected him and said she wasn't ready for marriage. My husband told me this woman left him to find a man who didn't want a commitment.

I am not questioning my husband, but doesn't that sound strange? My husband also told me (last night in fact) he is not in love with this woman, he loves me. But he does have love for her, just is not in love with her. (Thinks about her sometimes and hopes shes doing ok. Wherever she might be. His words. ) I had no idea how to respond. When he noticed that I was speechless, he started apoligizing, telling me he shouldn't of said anything.

I trust my husband, and I know he loves me. Very much. I know that he wouldn't leave me. But...how do you respond to something like that?!

Two years ago I moved back to my home town after being gone for 7 years. During this time being gone I missed out on 7 years of my 2 little 2nd cousin’s lives. They are 12 and 14; both boys . They have not had the best home life growing up, a lot of mental and physical abuse I’m told by them. I have alerted the parents that the kids are fed up and it will stop or they tell their school councilors. Well things have gotten better but over the last two years I have became somewhat more of a parent to these two boys than their own. Granted the mother brings every issue with them to me for insight and advice but I sometimes wonder if these boys are giving me the attention that should be rightfully given to their parents. Today the 12yr old made a card with a big heart on it for me. I was very flattered that he expresses his love for me, but it made me feel guilty because I know he has never made a gesture such as this with his mom or dad. I'm just starting to wonder if this is good or not?

I'm in my mid twenties, newly wed, and a college grad. I have NEVER been able to skake sucking my thumb since I was in the womb. My teeth arn't crooked, I'm not over weight, I always wash my hands, I don't suck it in public, it's not a sexual thing, and I don't have weird issues, in fact I'm in a nearly successful rock band. Its an addictive habit I have that makes me feel good. I feel like I comfort myself. I do it when I'm watching t.v., when I drive (windows are tinted), when I sleep, and especially when I cry or I am sad. I feel really good! Before I married, I told my hubby what I do and his responce was "thats better than smoking, I hate cigarettes!" and "OMG, you look sooo hot and sooo cute!" Besides my hubby and my mother knowing, no one I know personally knows I do it.

I would love to know people who are older as I am that do it also. I'd like to know others whom I can relate to!

My boyfriend will be overseas for 5 months when he comes home. We have been talking over e-mail and phone whenever we get the chance. We know that there are dramatic changes that are going to take place and we are willing to make those changes. But because we both live in two different states because of his job, we dicided that we both don't want to be apart from each other anymore.
Can anyone give me advice? What should I do? We want to move in together in January right after he gets home.
If we do move in together, can anyone tell me what it's like living with your one true love?

today is my dad's birthday his girlfriend and I put up decrations and baked him a cake well anyway she puts the cake at the top of the refrigrater and knowing it would fall well I go in the kitchen to get my chips out of the refrigarater and picked of the things that fell then she goes in the kitchen while I was watching some stupid show and she open the refrigrater and the cake falls on the floor and she had to clean it up then my dad starts to blame her for putting the cake on the top shelf on top of everything and she calls my dad's rent lady cause they are friends but what I don't understand is why everytime my dad blames her she picks up her cell and call somebody and tell them all about it I figure her friends don't want to know what's going on between her and my dad do u think she is trying to get my dad to break up with her or is she trying to start trouble and she has done this before

Well, me & my bf have been dating for 4 months, we look great together, he's got an amazing personality and mind, and he also is VERY attractive.

But, I've always had very rocky relationships in the past, and they usually ended up in me breaking up with them or cheating. Now, I'm much more mature with this relationship and I haven't even a thought of ever cheating on him. I love him very much.

But every night before I go to bed, I always have this really strong feeling to break up with him, and when I go to bed that night, dreaming about breaking up and I wake crying at around 3:00 each time.

Is it my intimadation of the relationship? Or what?

Please help I'm confused.

My partner and i have a 8 month old daughter and 1 on the way, we live across the rd from his parents and we have had problems with them for awhile because they dont like me but i never knew because they were nice to me but bitched about to other family members. The last time i seen my MIL was in August at lunch with other family members and when i got home my partner rang me and said that his mum was mad i didnt get up from my lunch to say hello to her when she had arrived late!! The last time my partner seen them was about 1 week after that and he had a fight with them when they admitted they dont like me because i dont have any respect for them cos i dont call them "MUM" & "DAD"! and that they know they will see the day that i leave with the kids and leave my partner with nothing! So we havent spoken to them in almost 4 months! So its almost xmas and i think my partner needs to talk to them again soon cos they have missed out on so much with our daughter and we are expecting another

First of all, we have been going out for about 2yrs and I really love him. We were together, then we did a long distance relationship for a school year while I was in college. I moved back and now I have my own apartment. Sometimes I question the way he treats me because when he does stuff to me like, yell at me and call me names ( I just pretend he is playing), I just take it and not let my self get as mad as I really should. I did the same thing to him this morning and he blew up and has not really talked to me all day. He also wasnt answering my phn calls all day. And he has a key to my apartment and said that he is going to come pick up all his things since I am currently at work.
PLEASE HELP!!! I really don't want to throw away two years but I really don't want to deal with this.

I am in my late twenties and have had a 4 troubled year relationship with an amazing girl five years younger than I. She suffers from a terrible abusive past, with many unresolved issues stemming from her father's prolonged sexual abuse. She eventually put him in prision for this, and has done much to put her life together. She is extremely bright, as she is putting herself through college (majoring in engineering and mathematics), and a very kind and loving person. Still, she has a lot of trouble with jealousy, self-worth, and self abuse. We have now been apart for some months, each of us dating other people. Despite our problems, our love for each other brings us back together again and again. I learned that the slept with a "friend" of mine that even lived in my home for some time. In my extreme anger, I told each of their signifigant others about how they had cheated on them, sabotaging their relationships. Any thoughts/suggestions? I can't seem to stop loving her.

I've went out with this girl a couple of times. We've known each other for years and have always flirted with each other. So I decide to send her flowers. About 2 days later, at My Starbucks, I walk in and start laughing with 2 other girls, then I see her, so I go over and say Hi, she gives me a dirty look, and then the girl across from her I know and says Hi, she then SLAMS her computer shut and huffs loudly, so I split?

This girl had gone out walking to a party, and after it was over she walked home but instead of going on the road, she took the back road you know between all the houses, the dark alley, well there was this guy at the end of the road watching her, and she prayed that God would protect her and just kept going, and then she passed up the guy and the next day there was a report on the news that this girl had been raped RIGHT WHERE THAT GUY WAS BY THAT GUY! She reported to the cops that she saw that guy waiting to hurt someone or whatever he was doing, and she had to go through a line up of men and she said "thats him" They said "Are you sure" she said yes, i need to talk to him. So, they let her talk to him and she asked the guy (the rapist) How come you got her and not me? He said...: "Because there were 1 men on each side of you" "God had sent his angles to protect her, that is why that guy left her alone.
