My boyfriend of 5 years has been looking at online porn & I never thought he did ANYTHING like that until someone I work with said he's obsessed with it. When I asked him he denied it and says he rarely masturbates. Recently I saw a show about how online porn addicts eventually engage in casual sex and cheat. My boyfriend is 27 and I always thought he just didn't have a sex drive. He works alot and I thought he never wanted to have sex with me b/c he was too tired. I always got turned down when I asked and we only had sex a couple times a month, which lasted very shortly. I am very open sexually and do everything he wants in bed..so it's not like I can't satisfy him. Plus I'm attractive. He looks at porn sites before work, after work and sometimes after going to bars several times a week. He's doing this before I come over his house. He's been looking at local sex ads of girls in nearby towns and I think he's cheating on me. Am I overreacting? Do all guys look at online porn

I stay at my bf's place with him usually on the weekends. I really like waking up beside him, but I didnt really want to get too into his space, because I was afraid that he would get annoyed or something.

But the other morning when we got up, he was like, "You should get you a toothbrush and stuff to have here if you want." Do you think that this means he's ok with me being in his space?

ok. my mom has been drinking all my life. She works eleven-twelve hours a day. So i could understand maybe having ONE beer. She gets home at about 4 pm, and she automatically starts. She never wants to drive me and my sister anywhere, and my dad is the only one who does any of that kind of stuff. The only time we really get to see her is when she is drunk. She is emotionally hurtfull, and she really needs help.
Is there anyway that I can get her sober? Oh and she smokes too :(

i just wanted to let you know about a Turkish rock singer who lost his life at a car accident. he was a really talented 28 year old singer-rocker-artist. he died on the way to his birthday, after he sang for a campaign for the kids with lukemia. he staied in coma for 5 days, but the strenght i always admired in him, gave way. he was a nice guy. a sincere, funny, loving guy who devoted his life to cahrities and "PECAE" acts. (his name, Baris, means Peace)

i encourage you to listen his songs at youtube. just search "Baris Akarsu" and you will have lots of results. especially "Islak Islak"...

My parents, or more so my mother, basically want their children to be doctors that are wealthy and successful and will return to Vietnam to deliver salvation for all the sick and orphaned children and people. Its not like I don't want to help people, but I've dreamt of other things.

My oldest sister is an architect major. They guilt her often that she may be following her dreams but they always tell her she won't find any work. This irritates me.
My second sister just left for a liberal arts college in Pennsylvania [swarthmore!]. The very fact that they ahve pressured her so much to use her ridiculous brains to be a doctor made her not want to.
My brother is a junior in high school and is lazy. He is smart as hell but lazy. He doesn't want to be a doctor and is interested in technology.
And woe is me--I'm the last child. I'm the youngest of four and therefore obliged to fulfill my parent's dreams.

Almost every time I try to start a conversation with my mom, she ignores me and doesn't answer back. Then if I say something about it, she'll say, "What do you want me to say? You didn't ask me a question." Or she'll say, "yes I heard you. You said (such and such). So what?" It's not like i'm a child either. I'm 23 and try to have adult conversations but everytime I try to talk to her, she won't. The only time she ever talks to me is to say something negative or to nag at me. I don't get it. Then the other day, I very politely asked her a question and she snapped and yelled at me and said I was giving her an attitude when I wasn't at all. I kindly asked her a question and even said "please." Why is she always acting like a *****?

I texted him, "Can we talk in person? There was miscommunication between our text/emails and its bothering me."

He wrote, " I got back from travelling, I am going to be working late all this week."

I wrote, "It will only be an hour max, don't you have breaks?"

He said, "Not today. You need to give me space. I am very busy, I don't have time for this."

I am 26 and still live at home. I pay for 40% of the family's bills. I am a vocal music teacher at a junior high school. I have a sister who is 22. My parents wants me to spend more time with them and talk about my life & my problems. Growing up as a teenager, I never really got along with my parents with my family because me and my sister fought constantly and all my parents did was favor her and said I was always wrong by not giving in to the little sister. They never understood who I was and felt that I hated them but I actually love them. I am embarrassed to talk to them about my problems now because I feel I am too old to. My sister is 22 and doesn't talk to them about her problems. If I talk to them, I feel I am more dependent than her. That is not right. In a family, the youngest is suppose to talk to the parents more than the oldest, right? I feel guilty about not talking to my parents, but I want to feel more independent than my sister. What I can do? Am I wrong?

A couple months ago i met a girl that i REALLY liked & she made it obvious that she REALLY liked me to, when i built up the nerve to ask her out she said she had a lot going on in her life, she said it was a "yes, but not now" then i found out that over summer she got another boyfriend and never told me a word. i also found out that she lied to me about a few other things, when i mentioned it she would act like nothing was wrong. her smile makes me forget why i was mad so i decided to just ignore her and move on but now she acts like a victim and asks me why i barely talk to her. Am i making the right choice by letting go? if i forgive her she'll know that for the future all she has to do is smile and say sorry to get away with something. keep in mind she always talks wierd like hinting me that she wants me to ask her out again

She married a man we are not fond of and although not much was said everyone knew how we felt. This man has been disrespectful and rude to us from very early on although seldom when our daughter is present. Our daughter and her sister were very close to us, as we owned for many years a lake home where we all went nearly every weekend and entire summers as a family for many years. Our daughters did not lack for anything including love. They were disciplined. She was an excellent student and earned a Masters degree. She had aimed at becoming a doctor but her first daughter slowed that process and the second child ended that dream. Her husband has a Bachelor's degree but has not had steady employment since their marriage. Her first child loves her grandmother dearly but now cannot see us. Our daughter has even referred to us as "ignorant and arrogant." All our friends who know her and us cannot believe this has happened. We believe her husband is behind this. Any suggestions?

It has been awhile now that I have been feeling this way. I just caught myself crying all the time lately. My ex husband never took me off of our mortgage and then let the house go into foreclosure. He has been made to pay for my bankruptcy by the judge, but I still must go through the motions of bankruptcy and I'm very nervous about the hearing tomorrow as I've never done this before.
