If a guy and a girl keep breaking up and getting back together would yousay they probably aren't meant to be? My guy friend is getting back with some girl he keeps breaking up with. I dont think It's good. What do you think? Am I wrong? Why do people do that? I have never been like that.

Yeah. Same her, i believe so that it's no good if a couple keeps getting on and off time and again. It's not healthy and well, simply put, a rocky relationship will always end rocky.

I have a friend who is exactly in the same kind of situation. It really aches to see someone go through it and to me, i dont understand why they do it at all. I guess they are just waiting for someone to be courageous enough to really break off and not come running back, or until they find true love elsewhere.

You probably would need to just give them time and be there, cos there's nothing more you could do. They would realise on their own accord in their own time that its not healthy and they have to move on. At least thats what i did and now my galfrend is dating this other guy and has totally forgotten about her ex..at least thats what i think!

I know how it feels like to be the third person watching it happen. Hold on strong!

Well...they might not be meant to be.....but they might. You can build a relationship out of the 'fight'(not that it would be a very good one, of course).

Meting a new person is scary and takes a lot of time. And it takes forever to get to know them. It is much easier to go out with someone you already know.

And it depends on why they break up too....if it's dumb little things the break up is meaningless.

If they are young like 16 probably not indicating anything other than young and new to relationships. If they are people in 20's or above not meant to be.

I have friends that dated in h.s. early college that on/off married 14 years and counting. People older in 20's etc on/off have not seen it be successful.

hmm, i dont think so. i guess that is the opposite.. trials are really a part of a relationship. well, they'll make the two of them strong.. if they arent meant for each other, why would they keep on coming back w/ each other after breakin up??
