Just looking for a few more opinions. How does depression affect a relationship? Do you find it difficult to communicate with the people in your life that you love the most, and find yourself cutting them out of your life? More specifically, have you had to end a relationship because of it, but couldn't bring yourself to communicate any further with that person even if they were offering support and help?? I've found myself in this situation, and don't know what to do to help him. I'm trying to be a friend to him, but he's not very responsive to me and I don't know if I should leave him be or keep offering support and letting him know I am there so he knows that I haven't abandoned him. I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out his unresponsiveness. He doesn't seem to want anything to do with me. I don't want to give up on him, because my heart and my gut are telling me that he will come around, but it's just starting to feel hopeless because it's been so long now

I mean a serious boyfriend relationship; better yet a marriage relationship. What should the MAN be expected to do in terms of caring for his wife?

Well, it is official....the jerk sent me an email today.

Basically it said that he "wanted me to do my own thing, take good care of myself, and have a GREAT weekend!".

Yeppers, I got dumped for good! I just wish I had saw it coming and didn't ahve my blinders on.

Thank you all for your patience with my stupidity and your thoughtful advice.

and get something totally wrong in a relationship? i.e. Did you ever think your spouse was cheating on you and he/she was not? Did you ever think someone was very interested in you and he/she was not? How many of you make relationship decisions based on your intuition?

My boyfriend broke up with me last week but we decided to remain friends. During this break-up we would still talk every night almost as if we we're still dating. Since we still talked like we were still together it felt like we were still together or maybe on a break instead of actually being broken up. Our break/break-up last only week. The other day he told me that he wanted to get back together with me and I agreed. Now he told me that he had sex with someone else while we we're on our break/break-up. I know I technically cannot be mad at him because we weren't together, but what do you think about this situation? What should I do?

Hi,

What i'd like to know are different viewpoints on this.

I happen to be involved with 2 different woman. They are both beautiful (to me at least), both can be understanding and wonderful to be around.

But they are different personalities.

One has children, the other doesn't.

Ones more aggressive, ones more submissive.

I've known them both for alittle over a year now.

And they both believe in marriage, as I do.

But, both appeal to me... I care about them both. So i'd like to know if you had to pick the right one, what would you pick as the most "important" aspects in a relationship to define the right woman. (Taking in consideration the you possibly love both equally, and they love you, but just can't decide which)

Hope that makes sense... thanks!

P.S. I don't have any children of my own, and never have (i'm 38) but do love them.

Jesus f-king Krispy Kreme Christ - the "similar questions" that popped up have answers that stimulate nausea moreso than any feelings of assurance

this world is absolute disgusting filth - the human race is vile bile

no wonder I don't like getting to know people

i was hoping to find some assurance that there still may be some fun "oat sowing" wild times ahead of me still, but in all likelihood judging from the "similar questions" - APPARENTLY NOT -

as a matter of fact it seems all I have to look forward to is some cumguzzlingwhore skank skag wife lying to me about what a slut she was in her past

wow what a great world! hey God - thanks alot for this blessed journey! ROFLMAO NOT!

I'm not talking about women who are abused or neglected.

Do you think women expect too much from their husbands?

Don't you think it's unreasonable to expect that your husband should make you happy? I almost feel like women these days too often blame their partners for their own unhappiness.

me and my boyfriend live 40 mins away. He is the only one in the relationship with a car, but it is not a very good one and he is temporaly staying with his parents and wants his own place. he gets paid under 300 dollars a week. while I on the other hand is staying with my parents and work 2 part-time jobs one I only work on weekends making under 60 dollars a week and the other is twice a month for 3 days in one week making under 80 dollars, and I don't have a car. I am trying to get finish with high school by taking this one last class online whick cost between 100-120 dollars.
The problem is that we miss each other but don't want to move in togther. At the same time we want each other to do the things we need to do that cost money, but gas is too high for him to pick me up take me out and bring me back home. The only two solutions I can come up with is that maybe I could move in with my cuz which is closer to him or we separate for two months til we both get on our feet.

I am invited to a co-worker's wedding this weekend. It will be a typical affair. The church ceremony, then the reception and dinner and dancing. But I was surprised and a little shocked to hear that they won't be having a Honeymoon!
What? I prononuce you Man and Wife, and then show up for work on Monday?

Shouldn't there be a honeymoon?

Money is not an issue and I'm the groom's boss. He can have the whole week off - I'm no Ebenezer Scrooge.
