They can work. Long distance relationships require alot of trust. If you trust him & he trusts you then it can work. But it takes alot of work too. If your willing to put enough into it. Then go for it.

It works kind of like a math problem...
The distance can be a block and the relationship won't work if there is not enough love, passion, etc. to keep it together.
So, if the person you care about is far away, even very far away, it can work if you BOTH want it to work.
Nothing 'dooms' a relationship... Relationships are held together by two people's desires to be TOGETHER... Focus on the quality of the relationship & I bet the better it gets, the shorter those two bus trips will be:-)
But be realistic too... Long Distance (I know from personal experience) makes things much harder... they are however, not doomed.

You call this a long distance relationship? How long are those two bus trips?

Look at this way...there are countless successful relationships which actually started as "online" relationships in the internet. How's that for long distance?

Its not a good thing to be very close to each other as well...because you might get tired of each other easily.

A little distance between you should add spice to your relationship...making those 2x a week or even weekly dates more exciting and something to look forward to.

With today's mobile phone and other technology...the world grows smaller everyday man!

My whole life I've heard that long distance relationships are doomed, forever and always, full stop. Although I've heard it countless times, I just refuse to agree and do you know why?- because I believe that your love is what will make it work. You never said whether your heart is indefinitely hers or not but if it is then I think you shouldn't rule out a long-distance relationship. Love is an amazing thing- don't let it slip away for anything. Good luck! ;)

dont think thats to much of a long distance relationship and they do work and know this from personal experiance. started seeing my other half about 2 years ago and lived a fair distance apart but now live together and have a little girl and possibly another on the way and think its the best thing ever

it depends if the couple are prepared to dedecate themselfs faithfuly to one another...2 bus rides is nuttin compared to air flights and long coach trips...i mean i have had a realationship 4 3 months now n its long distance as is a train ride away we dnt see each other but everyday i keep in contact n it seems to be goin well.... so i guess they only work with alot of understanding and compramising,,, like all relationships

long distance relationships are not always doomed. but they do take commitment and there should probably be love involved. not only that but you have to trust the person you are engaged in said long distance relationship with. most long distance relationships fail because there is no trust between tthe two people

That's not long distance. people in different countries meeting on the net and eventually marrying is long distance.

You got no chance if two bus trips is too far for you.

Good Luck anyway.

Long distance relationships often work extremely well.

Its much better for all concerned if the wife lives quite a long distance from the mistress.
