It depends on what the plans were? If they were plans I liked, it wouldn't be an issue. If they were plans I wasn't too hot on, then it might be one. Some people are touchy about their own plans and want to be in control of them. If you didn't like it, then I would make sure you talk to the person who made them for you and clarify that you're not trying to be a control freak or mean, but that you would prefer that if they want to make these plans for you that you would like the ability to at least be involved in the decision.
Good luck

My now X husband did that once....I had to cancel on our vacation because of work, he left out that Thursday not due back until the following weekend. Friday a.m. he calls and says oh by the way I invited my brother, his two kids, my mother and my stepfather to come stay with you this weekend, show them a good time will ya? How about that.
Don't get me wrong I adore his family, we get along great. But frankly I was looking forward to a weekend away from him and all to myself. I wasn't going to do anything but relax and sleep. But instead I had to scurry to get the house and groceries ready for them and a Saturday outing. I had a good time, but I was livid with him. Even more so when I later found out that he had cooked up this little scheme because he wanted to ensure that I was busy so I wouldn't have time to roam like some ***** in heat. I knew then that his paranoia had hit an all time high, and it was time for me to move on!

It honestly doesnt bother me at all when my husband does it. I love to have people over for dinner parties and such and i always cook too much food. And i love to go out and spend time with our friends, or go out alone to a nice dinner.
Give me 20 minute notice to put on some make up and tidy the house im good to go.
Now the exception to this is going out of town, because if its out of town i need to make arrangements for our pets, so i need at least a days notice for that.

I can't friggin stand it. My husband does it ALL the time. I could be having a hang out in my PJ's kinda day and won't even know we are going to have company until they are knocking at the door....and since the majority is from out of town they're usually here for a couple of days. And he gets to relax and enjoy the company and i'm running around cooking, cleaning, and chasing after kids....

I'd flip out personally. I'm not some puppet that people can control at their will. If I want to make plans I will make them mysef!

My hubby knows better. He gets the 'switch' to the behind if he steps out of line, I always say what we're doing and with whom.

annoyed. i'm pretty flexible, but my time is MY TIME. check with me first and more often than not i'll agree but don't make the assumption that it's okay to book my time without my express consent.
