I know she loves me but I hurt her too badly. I really wish I could take it back but I want her to know how sorry I am and that I would never do it again. I don't want us to break up. I really don't think I can live without her.

So i met this girl, that became a relationship, etc. It was going great and really intense at points. but toward the end i realized that she and the relationship is not what I wanted. Because of her jealousy, frequent low self esteem, and overall immaturity I just couldn't stay w/ her for the long run. Dealing w/her, i ended up hanging out w/no friends, no female friends, and basically doing NOTHING all day except to talk to her.

BTW, this was long distance, i was 18, she was 16. That was NOT what I wanted, but she would be so whiny at times I really didn't wanna hurt her. I think the relationship had some strain on her too. So we broke up. I moved on, she got a new b/f but I'm not sure she actually "moved on" (probably forced herself to). So i call her, lets say, every couple weeks after that to see how she's doing. First couple of time it was all good. But the last time, she had an attitude and tried to curse me out, brought up personal things, tried to make me out a loser. So...

I am 24 yrs old and married to my husband who is 28 yrs old for 3 yrs.I am a teacher and he works in insurance. Its not working out too much has happened and he cheated on me more than once.I have a daughter from a prior relationship who is 4 yrs old my only child who i want to make things easy on her as possible.I spoke to my soon to be ex.husband who has been working in london these last 3 months and we both agreed(verbal) to the liquidation of all marital assets as well as splitting everything 50/50.Well the thing is he wants to sell the house now. But the housing market is down at present so our home would only sell for about 336 grand when we purchased it for more like 400 grand or little more. I think we might want to hold off on selling but on the other hand there is no gurantee the market will pick quickly? My soon to be ex. offered me 750 dollars a month for 6-8 months if i sold the house now?Is this a good deal?

This girl @ work likes me, and she knows I like her too. Thing is- she acts weird sometimes. Long story short, she tries to make me jealous... What does that mean?

For me I would rather be a nerd. Because they are smart and honest. They are also nice company when you get to know them.

Short and simple version. I work with this woman who I know is cheating on her husband with at least 2 other people.

I don't know him that well. We meet at work social events and he seems like thoroughly nice bloke (who frankly deserves much better than her) but since I know this, am I honour bound to tell him what I know or leave him in blissful ignorance?

care of your own main meal. He wants a fish pie out of the freezer. I on the other hand was just trying to decide which local eatery would enjoy my lunchtime custom when HE said. There's a bit of leftover veg there you can fry up........

My not so dependable friend, who lives 3 hrs away has offered to make my wedding cake as a gift. Very nice of her, but i've never known her to be a cake decorator. I havent seen any of her work, but i'm reluctant to agree because she's well... flaky and i dont' want her backing out on me for some dumb reason at the last minute. BUT.. she'd be saving us probably $250. Should i make it myself and save myself the hassle? I'm really crafty and probably could do it myself.

Okay, I have a job and am perfectly capable and willing to work and support myself. My problem is, my boyfriend works for himself (he will Never get a 'real job', doesn't believe in working for someone else) and mades very little; sometimes he makes no money at all. The nature of his business is extremely unstable. He can support his very spare batchelor lifestyle. The issue is, he now wants for us to move in together, with the idea that we will get married in the future.

I am desperately in love with this person, but I am terrified. I want to buy a house in the next few years and start a family, but these things are very expensive and I will need a partner to contribute his share in order to make it happen.

He was also hoping to have enough money to travel to Europe next year, while I am in the process of searching for a new job so I can make more money and save for a home down payment.

Help! What should I do?

My Dad is 43, muscular and like 6'4. He and my mom are divorced so he's dating. Everytime I bring my girlfriend around he flirts like hell. Now he's taking her to the gym with him for personal training sessions and I don't like it. Last week I saw him pat her on the butt after we left the gym together. She says its nothing, he says it's nothing but I'm worried. My Dad is a handsome dude and he dates alot of young women. I'm just scared that he's gonna eventually screw my girl. And yes, I talked to him about it and he said he's not attracted to her and that I should mellow out.

We've been dating for about a year, and when we first met she said she wanted to stay a virgin until she got married, so we decided to hold off on the sexual part of our relationship. About a week ago she told me she was pregnant, and of course it's not mine, and she won't tell me who's it is. Should I stay with her or not?

It seems like when I feel I am being a jerk, I seem to get further along with a woman than when I am being a gentleman. I have gotten the "you are a great guy speech often as of late." How great do I have to be? When I have been told that I'm being a jerk, all I have to say is, "I'm sorry." I don't like being a jerk and most women say they don't like men who are jerks, yet it seems to work for me when I am. What's up with that?

I've liked a girl for a while, then one day i decided to tell her, and also asked if it was ok with me liking her. She told me she was fine with it, but now every time i express my love for her, like nice cards, reminding her that i love her... she calls me corny most of the times and it hurts. She makes me feel worse for being there. please any advice? would aappreciate it

I am young in my late 20s I stay @ home taking care of my 2 kids. Before I just wore t-shirts and jeans. Then my husband started doing things to make me feel suspicious and he would put me down for no reason and still to this day I feel insecure. So I thought I would change my look to see if he would notice me he never he brought me around his friends until reacently. I have highlighted my hair and dress more my age I guess and no I dont let anything hang out or dress slutty. I feel a little better about myself but my husband doesnt show that he likes my new look until his friends or other men take notice in me then he acts like I am the hottest woman in the world and then he claims me thats my wife and he will say" I dont know what a a good looking woamn like you is doing w/ a guy like me" Why cant he appreciate me all the time not just when other men take notice to say thats my wife?

Or do you think they are like the majority of us; people who know what they should do, but won't follow their own advice when it comes to their own relationships?

I have a suspicion that most of them are home alone Friday nights eating a pint of Ben and Jerry's.

Is this a recent change in manners or have people always been like this? I am having a party this weekend and there are still many people who haven't RSVP'd, and it is an email invitation so it doesn't take long. I think it is so rude!

I don't really care if they are coming or not, but I would like to get a head count so that I can buy food! It also makes me think differently of the people. It makes me feel that they are just waiting to see if something better comes up. So rude!

Does this bother anyone else? I know it is applicable to all events, weddings, parties, etc. Has our culture always been this way? Are you someone who never RSVP's? If so, why?
