I don't hate my husband, but I see him more as a friend or family member. It's been really hard to have intimacy w/him and I think I married him because my heart had been broken and wanted someone who loved me. We've only been married 11 months. Don't know if I should stay and hope for the best. Maybe love will come......

I have been separated from my wife for about a year. My daughter who is almost 15 has started getting into trouble and is almost uncontrollable. My wife and I have had a very disfunctional relationship, but it seems as if she cannot control my daughter and my funds are limited in obtaining a place of my own because i am still paying all the bills to keep my children in the community residence. She sneaks out at night and wants to be with these friends who are a bad influence on her. I feel the only way to control her at this point is to move back. Need some serious feedback.

I'm a teen and I don't think I'm good enough for anybody and it's getting really extreme. I've had an eating disorder since for 6yrs. I'm compulsive(eat too much), bulimic(throw up), and anorexic(starve)..I'm not skinny b/c I have Ednos, so I'm usually normal and sometimes over. Anyway, I feel so weird around people like I'm not pretty enough and I always feel like people are lying to me. So I never ask, I just leave it alone. I have a pro-ana book and I feel like a fattie, i'm constantly working out and stuff, hoping to get a boyfriend but one never comes along. I feel like there's something wrong with me because I don't have a boyfriend and I think it's my body, I dont' think it's too too bad, what do I have to do, I'm really confused.

How much does your family mean to you on a scale of 1 to 10.
(1 the least and 10 the most)

Mine is about a 9 because we have been really strained and just fight for the past 8 months.

Does anyone in this situation feel that after the dust has settled, and IF they have decided to give the partner a second chance, that there is some strange "secondary gain" to be had here? What I mean is, when there is an ultimatum involved, (i.e., you do anything like this again and I'm outta here...) it is almost like holding something over the partner's head, especially if they are regretful? It doesn't seem right, but just seems like it is the way things are. Do things ever become normal, or almost normal again? It seems like between the mistrust, and the changed dynamic, someone is bound to be driven away?

I know this friend who has a gf. They are engaged, marrying in 6 months' time. They sms each other during the day, sometimes have a quick chat on the phone, and apparently have regular and great sex. They are both over 37 years of age.

Recently, his gf (teacher) seemed to be slacking off on the communication, and the intimate conversations. She is totally absorbed in her job and works from 6.30 AM to 3.30 PM. At night, she apparently sits on the computer till around 10 PM. From when she comes home, till she goes to sleep, she spends time on her own stuff. She tells him she is not on chat.

My friend also works a job from 6.30 AM till 7.30 PM. Sometimes he comes home early to spend time with her. Weekends, no office work is allowed and they usually do fun stuff together.

Suddenly, she went off air for 8 hours of the day. No contact, no replies to smses. He smsed her, asked if she's ok? She replied 2 hrs later, saying she's very busy, but ok. 10 hrs, 1 sms.

What do you think?

...to wait a couple years to have kids...
I'm happily married, but have been wanting so badly to get pregnant and start a family. But I know that my husband and I aren't in the time or place or financial situation that we'd like to be in before having kids. Somebody remind me of other reasons to just hold off for awhile...(but please be nice about it)

All over, wherever I see in reality or over here, I see men blame women and woman blame men that their partners cheated on them!

Never heard one person acknowledge or confess that he or she cheated in the relationship.

The lil money she makes, wants to spend her way on what she wants, and have others pay for neccessities and desires. I say get Real. I have MY own everything and can't take care of two. I do really care, but What's a Bro to do?
