I don't think they're in perfect relationships, because no one is, has even been, or ever will be. I also don't really care about what they do on Friday nights... haha even though what you said sounds about right. X] The point is that they're experienced and want to share what they've learned with us. Even if they won't follow their own advice, or haven't, they know that it's the best way to go.
Three cheers for the top answerers/contributors in this catergory who're alone at home on Friday nights eating a pint of Ben and Jerry's! :D

You don't have to be in a perfect or healthy relationship to be a top contributor.
Read up the definition of the word 'experience'. Then you will understand why these people are top contributors.
People in healthy relationships won't be able to give as good answers as ones who have already went into one and came out. Because then it is easier for them to look at the good and the bad and see where they went wrong, what they should have done, could have done, wanted to do.
On a side not, just because people sit him on friday nights eating some Bem and Jerry's does not qualify them of "not having a life".. I guess you forgot that there is saturday sunday, and the whole rest of the week. I know people who party everyday except weekends, and those who only party on saturday or sundays.
So much for stereotyping with that suspicion of yours.

don't be fooled by the 'top contributor' on someone's name. I am not in a relationship at all right now. With my answers I generally try to help other people benefit from my previous experiences, experiences of people I know, or observations I have made. Sometimes I think I should follow my own advice in some aspects though.
And no, I don't spend Friday nights home alone with Ben & Jerry as my dates. It's beside the point that I work Friday nights...

I've been a top contributer in this category before. It started before I was in my recent relationship, which recently ended by the way. I don't expect perfection in any relationship. There's no such thing. And yes, I may stay home Friday night, but I'm not eating Ben & Jerry's. And the only reason I'm home on Fridays is because I'm out every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. I need a break every now and then. :P

I think that most of them are like us. It is much easier for people to say something than to actually do it, and they can feel good about themselves for giving other people the support that they need to do something great. I am not saying that none of them are in a perfect relationship. Maybe they are and they are now so happy that they want to spread around the word to make others as happy as they turned out.

I think they're in relationships but not in perfect relationships. The only reason I'm on here all day is because I'm a stay at home stepmom and answering peoples questions is fun!

I would venture a guess that most who offer realistic answers here are only trying to offer help and perspective based upon their own good or bad experiences in their own relationships. Just because someone has had a bad relationship, it does not mean that they cannot offer good advice and answers!
Good luck to you!

No way in hell! lol, every relationship has problems and troubles.
No matter who you are and how great you are at helping relationships out, most people don't even take their own advice.

Most of them are probably like us. Every relationship has problems but maybe they know what to do to make things work out better for them.
