Ask a friend of either gender and just go and have a good time. Lots of people go to weddings without a date. It's okay, and you'll find lots of people to talk to and dance with. My guess is if you're invited to a wedding, you're bound to know someone else there, yes. If this idea is just too horrible for you, why don't you call Mark and Brian at KLOS and ask them to set you up. They do it all the time as part of their show.
