I feel so detached from the world. I grew up on a farm and have never really had many friends (none that I see more than once a month). I've never been part of any social circles. Even if I'm 'with'a group I still feel separated, somehow.

I just moved to the city to go to University. After my first year and all my best efforts I still feel like a lonely little island. All the people I've met still have their high school groups and I can't seem to break in.

My sister and I cannot punish him, & my parents are too lenient and easy, so my brother never learn his lesson. Once, he wanted a wii game and my parents got it for him the very next day because he promise he would be good, but that's always a lie, but my parents always yield to him. He never eats food at home but always asked for McDonald, oh and he refused to sleep alone, he'll rather bother my parents in the middle of the night than to sleep in his own room. He also have a bad temper and would get in fights with me and my sis, and even if he gets yelled at, he never learned his lesson. Because of the way my parents treated him, he became a spoiled and selfish brat, and my sister is suffering from it because she's the only one he can bully, so what can we do to make my parents discipline him better? We already tried to explain to them the concept of grounded but they would never stick to it...

nice guys finish last?

I've heard it said so many times and I really think it's true. Can't tell you how many times over the years I've heard how sweet, thoughtful, caring...blah blah blah...I am. But who do I have to show for it?

Then I know these guys out there who are complete ******* and their girlfriends/fiances/wives just deal with it.

A guy I work with is telling me how great the woman is that he's with, been with her for years and thinks he's going to marry her...just days after telling me he "needs to get some strange" WTF!?!

I don't know...I've been thinking about this for a couple of days now since someone at work said it to me.

So what do you fine people think??

Alright I'm 19 and I've never had a boyfriend or a kiss for that matter. Theirs nothing wrong with my appearance or anything, infact I look like a Barbie. But I'm shy and have a hard time opening up. I have high morals, and so that makes me kinda picky...those are my excuses. So the real question is: Do most guys care if girls are experienced? Or do they like them to be pure?

My wife filed for divorce in mid May and moved out a week later. She got her own place and we pretty much care for our kids 50/50 (more me, but I want to be fair(kinda) . I found out recently that the guy she's having an affair with stays there when the kids are not with her. However, just last week she took my son boating with this guy and I was so pissed! She didn't ask our daughter to go,(she was with me) and my son called me the other day and said he thinks he heard him in the morning while he was at her place, and he was pretty freeked about it. I think this is so wrong to do this so soon after she left. I know it hurts me emotionally, but I can only cringe at what this would do to our teen kids if they knew all that she is doing. I want to run a background check on him! Damn it! This is so F'ing screwed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hypothetically! I'm asking because I find that I don't really feel a romantic connection with most of the ladies I meet. Let me tell you a little about myself.

I love nature, the peace and quiet, the fresh air, and the "green energy" ahaha.
I love conversations about philosophy and spirituality, the more serious aspects of life.
When it comes to entertainment, the weirder the better. Movies, books, video games are good. TV, ehhh...

I'm a student for life, I love going to school for almost anything.
I am not materialistic at all.

I am quiet and soft-spoken, but not a pushover.
I am quite a bit sappy, I play guitar, I write songs of every genre! Its my real passion in life.

Some "good" things:

Loyal, creative, down-to-earth, silly.

Some "bad" things?

Stubborn, low-energy, a little shy, impulsive, crazy.

...perverted?
I know, I'm judging. I do care for this friend dearly, and I like her for who she is, but there's one thing that keeps putting me in doubt. Whenever I'm on the phone with her, she says all these perverted things (even though we both know she's joking). She always says I have a nice butt, want to kiss me, etc.

She isn't lezbian. Just an outgoing 'pervy' girl.

Talking like this on the phone, I can handle. But I can't stand it when we're outside. She'd randomly yell out "HOW WAS LAST NIGHT?!" to me, and "I want to touch your booooobiez!!".

I mean.. I do tell her how I feel about that, and I've told her that I don't find it funny sometimes. But she just keeps going on.

What is a nice way I could make her stop doing this? (In public, at least).

How can I make the most of the rest of my summer? My best friends have asked me to go shopping with them individually...They each want to hang out...I am very diverse person and there is no getting my friends together. Therefore, I will have to take the time to hang out with each of them on different days...
but I am in a serious relationship...I also stay very busy with my family...I just keep putting them off...I know I keep saying, "Hey, maybe this next week we can get together..." But, then we never make plans...
I know this is my last chance too, to see them...I will be too busy during the school year with working and going to school...What can I do to make the most of my time with my friends? It feels like pulling teeth just to plan to go to the mall!!!

Im so crzy with him.. ive never been so hot tempered.. i never cared so much about anything... everything he does affects me... it terrifies me to think of him leaving me... i dont no what to do with myself... he says hes crazy about me too but i think i just go way too far... sometimes i get anxious when im not around him... and my chest hurts.. my throat hurts.. but then when i am actually with him.. it feels so good its like a drug or something...
im afraid of messing anything up hes just to good to be true...
when ever hes mad or annoyed i go crazy its like the world is spinning and then when everything is ok again.. i wonder why i felt like that.. and i see everything clearly.. and i think i will never overreact like that again.. and i should keep my cool.. but then next time we get into an argument i go crazy again!

I don't understand how it naturally happens guys I was afraid of growing up feel ashamed too & embarrassed cause nerds go w/out that when outta highschool I suffer from generalized anxiety & depression. mom thinks too I m jealous of sis 2yrs younger married 4 yrs 2 kids but am not Im mad @ myself for not knowing how to make friends & all that even job won't hire me they want experience I'm all stressed out & have no support other than counselor, sister 2 yrs younger I do I admit hold a grudge about her not including me in when teens I messed out completely on that life. even my sis 9 yrs younger had friends since 3 yrs old. life hard sometimes & dull only friend u have is 40 yr old lady from moms job only friend she's got too mom has no 1 really either back to 40 yr old I cry to dad sometimes cause not finding a hubby hangin' out w/ her she knows no 1 my age she even said it, I never see ppl my age always older or lil kids, have no way to leave house except store or grma's house.
