So tell me why...?

nice guys finish last?

I've heard it said so many times and I really think it's true. Can't tell you how many times over the years I've heard how sweet, thoughtful, caring...blah blah blah...I am. But who do I have to show for it?

Then I know these guys out there who are complete ******* and their girlfriends/fiances/wives just deal with it.

A guy I work with is telling me how great the woman is that he's with, been with her for years and thinks he's going to marry her...just days after telling me he "needs to get some strange" WTF!?!

I don't know...I've been thinking about this for a couple of days now since someone at work said it to me.

So what do you fine people think??

OK, well thanks missouri. But it's funny, not funny ha ha though. I AM all of those things. I have a "masculine" job - I'm an industrial machine technician, I fix machines and work on lasers all day - I ride a Harley...I have a fu-man-chu for Godsake! How much more masculine can you get?!?

But seriously, I'm not some nansy pansy boy at all. I was raised with two sisters and strong women in my life and more than anything I RESPECT women. I try to foster independence in the women I am friends with and the women I am in a relationship with.

I am by no means lacking confidence either - not to say I'm cocky - but I am sure of myself without being full of myself.

I think more than anything lately I am simply frustrated. The comment made at work wasn't even directed at me, it was just a statement - but it got me thinking. Thinking that I have found "that girl", yet I can't have her. And she's no girl - she's an incredible woman.

Well in a nutshell (most) girls are attracted to bad boys.
They want the tough, rugged, masculine, type guys...
In the beginning of the relationship everything is fine, and then when things go down hill the girls usually say, I wish I had a nice guy, why cant I find a nice guy?... Well they want the bad boy image with the nice guy traits (with a bit of not so nice)..
Girls will get bored with a guy that is to EASY going and nurturing.
In most part anyway....

Of course again MOST girls don't usually find out that their boyfriend is a cheater, liar, etc until it is to late.

I don't know where I am really going with this. But I don't think nice guys always finish last. If you believe it then you wont be confident enough in yourself to try.
You just haven't found the right girl yet. She is out there.
There is A LOT of women waiting to met you....Be patient.
