Their religious perspectives on things
what they are looking for
There are so many things...google something about a questionnaire for Muslims who are looking to get married. I have seen a few online and wish I even had them before I got married. I think they are very useful. They get pretty detailed in some things too.
BEST WISHES SISTER!
By the way, I love your Avatar's 'hijab' reminds me of my Moroccan Djellabas :D

Ask questions like you would anyone else in any other setting. Start with basics. A lot of the time you actually find out more about a person online in a short period of time by just having a regular conversation. Something I do rather online or in person or whatever is the 20 question game. Its a great way of learning about each other and its fun. You basically break the ice if there is one. Find out their name, childhood stories, education, hobbies, dislikes, likes, what gets on their nerves, etc.. Once you get started, it will all come natural. Also, try to talk on the phone a couple of times before meeting each other in person. You can tell a lot from the backgrounds, rather or not they are giving you a cell phone/house phone number, and just the smallest details. If they are always alone without any noise and have a house line but won't give you it are things to look for.

Well, if it were me she were trying to ask questions of, I'd rather she just ask what ever she wants to know straight out... Trying to hide what she really wants to know would just irritate me. Sorry... Also, why does it matter if a girl wears a skirt or pants? Most guys I know would say (if they were honest) that the clothes they most prefer a woman to wear is inviable:) Sorry.
