my mom who is 51 yrs old found out today she has breast cancer. im whirling from the shock. my mom and i were never very close but i have been trying to change that. her and my 2 little girls are very close. how can i show my support to her? this is all very new to me and im not sure how to act.

ok well my friend has a boyfriend who is 2 years older(15) and i don't want her to get hurt
she just met him online a couple days ago
and he lives in the same town as one of her cousins

i don't know if i should tell her or not
i mean i don't want her to break up with him and be mad at my but i luv her(like a sister) and i hate seeing my friends get hurt

My father was recently arrested for a 3rd time for possesion of Methamphetamine. ( we aren't close as a result of his using) His 1st cousin posted his bail in the amount of 11,000 and they are now living "happily ever after" as lovers... to me and my 3 sisters this is utterly disgusting, so why is his family so supportive of this? I love my dad's family, but I just can't accept his relationship. To top it off how do I answer my kids' (8, 4 and 1) questions about why we don't visit him anymore and such?

Is it normal to start crying for a VERY long time because I see my grandma is basically paralyzed. She takes meds because she has cancer. She cant even talk or show any emotions currently because of the meds. I get very sad and cry for a LONG time because I see her like that but she used to be full of life and could talk. Is it normal to do this?

This guy and I dated for three years and I decided that I wanted to be single for awhile. During the next year, I dated someone else and so did the guy. We got back together and dated for another five months. I then decided that I wasn't ready for a long term relationship. We broke up and both dated different people. Then yesterday he asked me ifI still had feelings for him. And I think I do... he was my first love.
What I am asking is... Is it weird to date him again?

about two years ago my dad moved about 2-3 hours away from our usual house on account of a job, or that's what they told us. my dad used to call us every weekend or come down to visit. just recently my parents started fighting more and more than the usual stuff, and my dad doesn't come home anymore. it's been like a month since i last saw him. then about a week ago the conversation of "what would you do if timothy and i got divorced?" came up. yesterday my dad came and picked up basically all of his stuff. is he going for a zen thing when he is home or could they be getting divorced? it's not like im going to be sad if they are cause they;ve basically been "seperated' for two years. i just need other people's opinions?

My husband dated another girl when we got engaged. she was in the picture before I was and he didnt know how to end the relationship. I kew after we got married.
Now this girl has a medical condition and she lost her friends and family, and me as a Christian couldn't stay silent so I wrote her an email supporting her and offering a helping hand.

I've been working at a "child care facility" for about 2-3 yrs now. The people i'm close with now are the same people that got hired around the same time i did - we're all about the same age - 3 girls (including me) and a guy. This guy is straight up very blunt and "horny"...he just says things and we're all used to his personality; you either play along with it or ignore it - he's very "open" with those 2 other girls (touching, etc...) but with me, i let him know my boundries and he's been respectful.

These past few months, I've been very vulnerable - been going through some "confusing adult issues". He was being sensitive to my needs but at the same time flirting more. One day, after a meeting, we ALL hung out and he made a complete disrespectful move on me. I wasn't intimidated but i just knew i didn't wanna see him for a while.

I let my boss know that I didn't wanna work/ be near him at that time. It happened OUTSIDE of work so it's not like she could do anything...but she did. She wrote a letter to everyone in the faculty talking about harrassment. I didn't want to get it THIS far. He's done nothing to me at work and i know she was trying to protect me, butit wasn't really any of her business.

One of those girls is just "disappointed" in me b/c i "told my boss"...she said that this guy will never be as "open and friendly" again...and she thinks i'm gonna get all of us fired...AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, MY INTENTION WAS NOT TO "RUIN" ANYONE, I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO AND I AM NOT INVOLVED IN MY BOSS' ACTIONS - going beyond what she had to do.

Do i do the wrong thing?

having some of the same issues (screaming & verbal abuse during arguments...can't seem to ever give him enough attention or affection) We separated two weeks ago and are both going to counseling - individually right now. He asks me every day about coming over to spend the night or to come over super early in the morning to "see our son"...and made comments like he "started to lie down" with me (I was still sleeping). Just got the cell phone bill and see that he's started calling & texting the girl he was dating when we got back together. Needless to say, I then went to check his drawer in the bathroom, and yep! he took his Viagra with him. Obviously he intends to begin a sexual relationship ... would you worry about trying to work on this marriage? I do not miss him and am not at all jealous about the girl. I just do not admire him...am I wrong? GUYS: is this how most of you would respond during a separation...look for sex within two weeks? FYI...we were intimate July 10.

I am getting a bus home for this weekend- but there is this big competeition down town and this guy I liked alot in high school ( but embarrassed myself infront of him) will be there.
