Is it normal to start crying for a VERY long time because I see my grandma is basically paralyzed. She takes meds because she has cancer. She cant even talk or show any emotions currently because of the meds. I get very sad and cry for a LONG time because I see her like that but she used to be full of life and could talk. Is it normal to do this?

yes, it is very normal, some people can deal with a situation like that and show little or no emotion while others are brought to tears very easily. it is nothing to be ashamed of, it shows you have a very tender heart. do the best you can to try to keep the tears in check so you can spend quality time with her while she is here. even if she can not communicate, she may know you are there and that means a lot

Very normal. We all deal with grief in different ways, some cry, some don't.

Don't think though for one minute, that just because she can't show emotion, or talk that she can't hear or understand.

Cry if you need to, when you leave her house, scream if you need to.

yes it's normal. the best thing you can do now is to stop crying and try to make the best out of the time she has left.
