in the past two months three of my closest friends are far away...one moved back to japan..one moved to cali and the other is leaving tomorrow to Washington D.C....i feel really bad right now....how do i deal with this change??

I have a best guy friend.... we are dating. He has told me he loves me and i have told him this too. Before we started dating we always talked about how we were gonna buy a house together and have kids. His dream is to be a dad and my dream is to be a mother of 3 sons. I also want to have a job outdoors but anyways. How do I know.... he is the one?
He's already a part of the family . We all consider him family. My parents consider him one of their own. Same with his family. We've never had sex. How do i know that he is the man i should marry when i've never had a boyfriend except for him who has always been there.

I am a 23 year old college student who has family in SoCal. My parents right now are having a lot of problems and I think my mom is up for a divorce. My father has abused us all emotional and mentally for a long time. I don't have much money and I would have a place to stay @ my cousins house. But she is married w/ 2 kids and I would feel like an intruder. I am interested in applying to schools in LA, but i'm afraid that i have past the deadline. Maybe i could try a community college for starters? Would I need a car? Money for an apartment? A job? Wow! how would I go about doing this all on my own, in a huge city where I don't really know anyone or anything? I keep going back and forth about moving there or not. But I know that my home environment right now is not healthy for me and I have become depressed as a result. What should I do? Anybody give me some pointers? Some help?

He is jealous of my son and says he don't know why I ever called him. I called him first. I told him my son and I were fine before him and he takes it that way. Am I stupid or am I married to a idiot? He hates my son and makes life miserable for him when possible. Tell me...do I give up this marriage #3 or keep working on it till my son leaves in a few years?

My 19yr old son lives w/ my ex, but has been staying w/ me because of escalated arguments w/ his dad. He's getting his own apt on Monday & his dad will not let him come get anything from his room!! Including his own clothes!! My son said he would bring a police escort or go when the dad is not home. His dad has taken his key & said he will not be able to get in the house when he is gone & the police can't do anything because they are not his things. We have called the police & they didn't really give a straight answer! Just like "surely he'll let you take your clothes?" is all they really said? His dad has threatened if he comes there will be a "fight!!!" So wondering, wouldn't the clothes & everything else be considered my sons, since they were "given" to him? Just trying to help my son get his stuff & get the heck outta there the calmest, best way possible!!?

Not all of them, grandma is a saint..

But I'm talking like the ones you see in public. In their cars they either get right up on your tail- or if they are in front, slow down like a snail.

For instance, I went to the post office, and had to mail a package to my sister the other day on my lunch break.This old grandma type lady was also walking in, and I held the door open, she like " I can get it ", so's I let her get in front of me in the line, after I get my mail, doesn't even give me a "thank you", sees me with my one little package, and goes about getting money orders for every bill in the last six months. She made the mail clerk read it back to huh twice!!! Then she wanted to see every stamp they had in the joint, and argued about the price of it! By the time she got done, I didn't have time for a cigarette and a coffee for lunch. Can you believe this? I'd rather deal with teenagers any day...they get a bad rap, but most are good kids, but some of these old folks..forget it

Ok my friend is 15 and her boyfriend is 25. I tryed telling her to leave him and find sombody els her age. I tried giving her advise and helping her in each and every way i can. It dosent work and know she wont even talk to me!! She says that im jelous of her and to stop getting in her peronal life. i love her and really care about her. Im scared because her loser boyfreind told her to runaway with hem to mexico BY SUNDAY. she wants me to tell her mom that shes going to my house so she could meet up with her boyfriend. i dont what to but she told me to do it if i really care about her. Since I married my husband 5 yrs ago my sis-in-law hated me for no reason. My mother-in-law said it was jealousy and she would get over it. Well, she never even looked at me not to mention didn't even talk to me. We then found out she was preggo by another man (left her 1st hubby) and then she started talking to me (little girl is now 2). Now I'm the one that can't even stand her, I mean I never have hated someone so much. Now my mother-in-law tells me that it bothers her that we don't get along. I told her she has treated me so bad for about 3 years and I can't just become buddy buddy with her from one day to the next. I told her I was hurt. I don't feel bad about my feelings towards her, cause I never did anything do her but marry her brother. And then I started to think, How come it never bothered her when it was her daughter that gave me the silent treatment.

ok, so..... my friend invited me to his cabin up north near a nice lake. me, him, and his dad go fishing and we come back to the dock, and his mom is just laying their tanning top-less. she notices us and shes like "o hi youre back" and doesnt put it back on. she just acts like its on. and ever since then shes gone like that. tubing, fishing with us she went once, swimming, even relaxing inside the cabin. she acts like its on her. should i just go with it????

I've always wanted to join the army or the airforce, however my friend tells me over and over that she wont let me go. She has NOTHING against those two things, and strongly supports them and all they do for our country. She just said that she doesnt want to loose me. We were talking today about how if I did go that I might miss things like her wedding or important things in her childrens lives. I dont blame her for this I guess, I just dont understand why she's doing it. Does she really care about me that much that she wants/needs me around her or does she just not want me to pursue my dream?

My parent's have been divorced for over ten years now and my mom has been getting child support money from him for a while...

Untill recently, my father hasn't been paying and we're all annoyed and angry with it cuz he gambles, drinks, and he gets new cars...but he hasn't paid child support money and we're struggling!!

My mom just told me that she wants to get my father's girlfriends address to mail them child support letters, ect. But she wants ME to do it...
I understand why cuz my father isn't the best to talk to (He's so, SO difficult!!) and they always start fighting when they're talking...

So, yet again I'm in the middle...but I feel uncomfortable to ask his gf for her address and for her to be hastled with these letters...my father ignores them and tells me that he's trying, but it's hard to believe with him and his new car, clothes, booze, and gambling money...

What should I do?!

Ok so i broke my cell phone cuz i fell off a dock helping a boat get off the dock. so i fell and ruined my phone while tring to be a nice person. well my mom went and bought me a new phone costing 269 dollars. I get the fact it was nice of her to do and that she wants me to pay her back by doing chores. well tonight i cooked dinner then cleaned everything up she didnt have to do any thing and she said thats 5 dollars off. she will barely give me chores to pay off and when she does its maybe a few dollars. to me it's not fair if she barely gives me chores and pays very little for a big chore and wants me to pay her back. the only reason i have the phone is cuz of her and my dad they want to be able to call me when im not home cuz my phone works where i go camping so i can call her. add this too she wont pay me for grades or take them out of my money i owe her. i got a 3.95 gpa and accepted into chemistry and pre calculus as a SOPHOMORE! ugh it makes me sooo mad. any advice out there?

My husband and I were invited to the wedding of an old friend (I haven't seen her in 5 years). The invitation is just made out to the 2 of us, even though the bride knows we have a baby. Does this mean the baby isn't invited? I don't trust babysitters yet (what can I say, he's my firstborn), so I'd have to figure something else out if he's not welcome. Is it rude to bring a baby to a wedding when it's not specified on the invitation? Thanks!

my husband thinks that i do not know how to handle my finances. he's unemployed and i take care of all the bills and expenses. he expects me to save some money. but i am having a hard time because i think we are spending so much on eating out, which he likes and we spend a lot during those times. he argues that it should not be the reason because we don;t do it everyday. but frequency is not the point, it's the amoutn we spend on that one time.he can't get that. now he wants to get all my salary on payday and he'llbe the one to manage it to show me that he can do it. should i? i have given him money in the past, which he just spent carelessly. but i am also thinking that we might do it better that way because he would have to prove that he can handle the money better than i do.

last night, i opened the topic again. i showed him the complete ilst of all the expenses to prove that i am not spending more than i should except for the times that we ate out.

any ideas out there?
