ok, so..... my friend invited me to his cabin up north near a nice lake. me, him, and his dad go fishing and we come back to the dock, and his mom is just laying their tanning top-less. she notices us and shes like "o hi youre back" and doesnt put it back on. she just acts like its on. and ever since then shes gone like that. tubing, fishing with us she went once, swimming, even relaxing inside the cabin. she acts like its on her. should i just go with it????

No, going topless in front of others is a disrespectful thing. It is something people with no Class would do. You should still be friends with your friend, be normal, don't Mention it! It's his mom! What she does is separate from what your friend does. Just avoid his mom, meaning do activities where she isn't around, because, what if other people hear about this? What will they think when they find out you keep going on trips..just to see her breasts? People will think you're perverted. Just avoid situations where she might go topless.

It's not unheard of for people to enjoy being topless.
Here in the Puritanical US, that is much less common - and creeps people who are not used to it out.
I say relax - it doesn't seem like she is coming onto you in any inappropriate way since she does it in front of the whole family. Having such an experience where nudity or partial nudity is not necessarily "sexual" may help you become less uptight in your own sexual life.
Enjoy the experience - realize that a nude body, while sexy, is not merely sexual.

Next time you are invited you can just tell them light heartedly that you really don't quite know what to look at when his mom goes topless and you really aren't comfortable with that. She is sharing just a little too much of her own personal information

In many cultures (like European) this is normal beach wear.
In North America, we make a big fuss over the breasts.
I would just try to relax & enjoy the view.

It's not appropriate, and I'm sorry you have to worry about this. Next time your friend invites you to do something with his family, it's probably best for you to decline the invitation. If your friend asks you why, tell the truth: it makes you feel uncomfortable.

It would be hard for you to talk about it with your friend if you just tried to accept it as normal.
Ignoring it is one thing, just to be nice, but seriously.... if you want to take anything else seriously beyond that... you'll have to address this issue. Otherwise future issues will be ignored as well.

Does it make you feel uncomfortable? If not, yeah just go with it. She feels comfortable like that.
But if it makes you feel uncomfortable just don't hang out with your friend when his mum is around.
It's no big deal.
