I'm 17 and for two months, and not even two months, like one and 18 days I'm gonna be working. In total I'll earn about $1,000 after taxes. And it's just for the summer, when I go back to school, it's over. Now this woman wants me to save $500 dollars so when I go back to school I can use the money for lunch. What the hell! Then I'll have like $500 to spend and probably even less when you count other things like getting my liscence, which I will have to pay for and my phone. So it'll be less than that to start with. My mom is being so selfish! She's acting like this because she isn't getting overtime from work and she has mortgage and bills to pay, but she's not dead broke! Why can't she just let me enjoy my damn money and get what I want and save some for other things I want. It's not right. It's like I'll be working to eat! And that doesn't make any damn sense because it's not a steady job. It's just a few bucks to have and enjoy. Why is she doing this? Why must she be such an a s s?

I go hiking with this group of people. After a few months of lay off, I met this girl and we talked for almost the entire hike, except at the end. Both her and I used to live in the same town and we made a lot of connections about that and other things.
When I said, "I hope I see you again." She said, in a subdued voice,"Yeah....um....I hope so." I didn't see her again on the next hike or any following hikes for several months. I learned later that she was in the process of moving. She only moved 40 miles away. Next week they told me they're going on a hike that's like all day this time and 50 miles away. They said she might be there. Now, if it's just about the hike I'd rather not go. It's too long and too far away and I have other things I'd rather be doing. But the chance of hooking up with this girl is there. But given her lukewarm response when I said goodbye to her, and the fact that she hasn't shown up for any of the other hikes, I wonder if it's worth it.

I am getting married next month. My grandparents had a passionate loving happy marriage until one of them died. My parent have been married for over 40 years - unhappily. I was wondering what do married couple feel that is the most important advice they could give a soon-to-be newlywed for a long lasting marriage? Keep in mind, he and I are both in our 30's, and is this the first time either of us have been married. What makes your marriage successful?

What is it? I just don't know. If I say the sky is blue, he says it's orange. I just don't get this stubborn a$$!!!!!!!! Please explain to me if you know....

Personally, i think it's pure nonsense. How will you find something if you don't put any effort in it? And besides, i tried this approach (no dating at all, not putting any effort to find a lover) for almost two years now and it didn't bring me anywhere, i'm still single. I'm not saying you should start searching like you're desperate, but not making any effort at all will not bring you anywhere.

I am a Bride-to-Be, about to be married in 19 days and I am really excited to be getting married to the man of my dreams. Lately though, I have getting really depressed and moody & it really doesn't feel like I am getting married. I have gone through a lot of family drama through the whole wedding process and because of it my parents won't be at the wedding. I don't know if all this depressing and sadness (about my parents) is just coming to a head or whats wrong with me, but I wanna enjoy these next couple weeks and I need some ideas on how I can do this. Any of you ladies experienced this before your weddings? Honest and helpful answers need only apply! Thank you!

There's this girl which I really like, and I want to ask her out I know she likes me too but the problem i have it's Age difference, She's 16 and i'm 18 which it isn't much of a difference but I'm afraid of what people might think! they might say it's wrong or something cuz i'm also going to college and she's in high school!

I mean as long as sexual relations go I'm willing to wait for her until she 18 or until she's ready I don't care I just want to be with her that's all she has an amazing personality, So can you people let me know about this age difference? and Is it safe to go out with her even though our age is different?

We're having a USO themed 1940s inspired wedding, and instead of another baggie of nasty jordan almonds to send home with our guests, my husband and I were thinking of putting a blank thank you care in a stamped and addressed envelope and having guests write thank yous to our troops over seas-- what do you guys think? And where on earth to get over 100 addresses of guys and gals over seas??? We have 3 or 4 friends in Iraq but we'll need more addys than that-- thanks for all your help!!

In this case, and when love is so much deep between both of them ... whom do you expect to take the first step declaring his deep feelings? Despite their being shy, who can break the circle of shyness and confess ... can it be a boy or a girl? Am speaking generally of course .. is it always a rule that a boy should always be initiating love even if he is a shy type (regarding this case)?

I know they aren't obligated to but I wonder if the new tradition of having older couples stand on their own two feet is starting a bad trend.

I currently have 3 brides I'm designing for, all are 21 or younger. When they were asked why they were getting married now it's because if they waited any longer the parents would not pay since they were "adults". One bride even told me it's OK if she gets divorced in a few years because she got a free party and tons of presents she wouldn't have gotten if she waited until she was sure he was the right guy.

It leaves me wondering if couples are jumping into commitment early to get the wedding paid for....what do you guys think?

I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna miss her SO much! She said though even though she had a supervisor's position, she couldn't handle the drama, & it' problem after problem. She was making a lot of money, but she said she doesn't care about the money. She's going back to school in the fall to get her PhD in Math. & she has the money to pay out her own college tuition.

Everyone will miss her, & we all feel like she was the only single 1 person who did her job correctly & was dedicated to it, & she deserved her high position. Now who do we have to count on when something isn't done right?
