There's this girl which I really like, and I want to ask her out I know she likes me too but the problem i have it's Age difference, She's 16 and i'm 18 which it isn't much of a difference but I'm afraid of what people might think! they might say it's wrong or something cuz i'm also going to college and she's in high school!

I mean as long as sexual relations go I'm willing to wait for her until she 18 or until she's ready I don't care I just want to be with her that's all she has an amazing personality, So can you people let me know about this age difference? and Is it safe to go out with her even though our age is different?

Nobody will say anything. Back in high school there was a couple like that and people didn't really care. People in college might think it's a little weird though but hey it's YOUR life. If you're happy that's totally cool. It's perfectly safe for you two to date as long as she is mature and can handle not seeing you all of the time.

Two years is NOT a big deal! Just keep in mind that because she's under 18 she still has to follow her parents' rules and that means you do too. As far as sex is concerned, depending on the state you live in, any sexual contact at all(even sexual touching, NOT just intercourse) could be considered a criminal offense- even if it's consensual. You'll HAVE to maintain control of your sexual urges and resist hers at all times and there's no romantic "I'll wait till she's ready" about it- you could go to prison for several years and be registered as a sex offender for life. If you're serious about waiting for her you could just hang out and "be with her" as friends and get to know each other in group situations with her peers. Bowl, go to the movies, hang out at the mall, go to her prom if she invites you! Most importantly, jjust have FUN without robbing her of all the meaningful high school experiences that YOU had ;) If all of that is too much sacrifice: date an older girl

To me, I personally think that as long as the maturity level is ok with you, the age difference shouldn't be a bother. Just don't do anything stoopid :)

Good Luck!

I think that if you feel like there is a connection age doesn't matter, but most people don't feel that way. People will think you're a pervert. People won't look at it that way when you're 21 and she's 19. My best advice is to say crap what other people think, and do what you want. ***** I HOPE THIS HELPS *****
