ok here's the deal, i just turned 18 in march. and the guy i like is 40... i know its a big difference but we have so much in common we can talk about anything and everything and never get bored of each other (we talk on the phone for like 2 - 3 hours a day and we see each other every weekend almost)... i've known him for 2 years and he has helped me through some really tough times with my family. and i have started to develope feelings for him, im pretty sure he has some for me too cuz he is always telling me how sweet and caring i am and that he has never known anyone as good as me and just all these really flattering things he even told me one time that if he could be with me it would make his life "perfect". but the thing is all my friends think its creepy and my family hates him... should i try to make it work or listen to them? after all isnt age just a number anyway???

i said yes and then he wasnt calling me i would have to be the one calling him or he wouldnt call me ..so when i called him again 3 days later in our relationsip..i tolled him why he wasnt calling me he said he wasnt ganna go out of the way for me and he had to worry about summer school and his family and that he was to busy to call..then he was like mabey we should be friends for a minute..so we left it at being friends...but i dont get why he startted calling me again and asked me out if he was just going to break up with me like 3days later...???....iam scared hes ganna end up calling me again...!!!..what does this mean....!!!

i am 23 yrs.my husband gets me so mad and the arguments are always started by some nonsense.i dont want him to touch me and i often fantasize about moving out and even getting married again. i dont even feel the need to have kids with him. Most of the year before my boyfriend of 5 months met me he liked another girl. They never dated because she shot him down, but after an initial mourning period they started to hang out a little again. Once he met me they didn't hang out until once this summer, which was with another person too. But he still posts on her facebook and talks about her occasionally. I know he loves me and cares about me and wants me, but he still mentions her and has pictures of her in his bedroom which he says he'll cover up once I give him some of me. Should I tell him that it bothers me or should I let it go? She was the only girl romantically in his life before me, and I worry that he'll start to like her again or that maybe he hasn't gotten over her.

My husband and I split in March and he has a new girlfriend and he is already telling her he loves her. How does someone get over there wife in just a couple of months when you have a 3 yr old together and expecting one on the way? So your relationship with someone is over, & then you see them out & their new girlfriend/boyfriend bears a very odd & very obvious resemblance to you?

This happened to me...I was absolutely not on communicating terms with this person after ending the relationship. (I got a restraining order because) he continually stalked me, and then not only was he stalking me, but he was bringing along someone who looked just like me. It was really unsettling. Weird. Like he was saying - look, I found another YOU.

I started talking with her on different email id when i felt she wasn't serious; but she kept telling me i'm the only one she has been talking to becus she love me. we both had some misunderstanding recently and she sent a message to my other email id telling that she needs and love to talk to me.
I eventually connected with her in another id, i asked why she wants to talk to me, she say she want to know my kind of person, then i asked if you have someone or a boyfriend she been talking to, she said never she don't have but some people just pop up and she too busy to talk to them.

I like this boy who is 2 years older than me. He is going to high school this year, and I won't see him for another like...900 days! I don't really know him, and he has no idea who I am...I'm really sad, but I don't know if I should wait for 900 days or if I should just move on! I've liked this guy for almost a year now. In this year we've really gotten to know eachother and he's taken me out a couple of times, but it's been strictly friends. Whenever I try to talk to him about becoming more he just says he doesn't like me like that and moves on. The other night, though, he told me I was an 8.75 out of 10 on his scale...to me that's thinking more than just friends. I know from his best friend that he doesn't like any other girls and he's told me that as well.

I have this boyfriend and I have been dating him for a year and a half. I get really frustrated with him because he seems to blow off my feelings alot.

The main thing that he does that makes me feel disrespected is not doing what he says he will do.
Like.. he'll say I'll call you back in 10 mins but doesn't end up calling me back until 2 or 3 hours later. So I'm sitting there waiting for him and to me... I feel like I'm forgotten. This has happen numerous of times. and he feels as though he has not done anything wrong. Another thing is when I would ask him if he would come see me after work. He would tell me maybe but would never get back to me untill his been at home. And he wouldn't probably call till 2 hours later. I just feel like crap. Cause I don't feel that he respects me enough to do the simpliest things. It would have been nice for him to call me ahead of time and tell me so i'm not sitting there waitng. I don't know. I just want to know if I'm over reacting.

I have been dating a guy for 8 months and I am 18. He seemed ok for me, but then I met this other guy and I have never felt that way about anyone the way I felt when I first met him. I've known him for a week and he just told me he is dying and has 4-8 years left to live.
