That I like girls and not guys im 16 years old,I know he will disown me for it what do I do??


should I just try to be stright?

Bring your gf home and spend alot of time in your room. He will eventually get the message if boys aren't involved. Or, tell him that you want to have a party and invite all your friends. Then they all turn out to be gf's. He will get your drift. Trust me this will be more stressful on the grandkids.

Trying to be straight is not going to work. Trust a gay guy (me), and all the others; that makes as much sense as you dad trying to be gay!

Now, acting as tho you're str8 might work, and maybe you can keep it up until you can live on your own. And maybe not.

The other end of it: How do you KNOW he will disown you? It may be true, but it may not be.

In any case, figure out what you're going to do IF you are thrown out of the house. Who can you move in with (and be safe), or what community resources can you call on, etc.? Treat it like the most important school research paper you'll eve do, and look at all the options.

No, you should definitely not try to be anything. Just be you. Why would your dad disown you? I would imagine that he would be more likely to let you hang out with girls than with guys if he is worried about you making good decisions about sex/pregnancy/diseases, etc. You don't have to confide in him if you do not trust him. But, always be honest with yourself and those lucky enough to be loved by you. As you age and become more comfortable with yourself, you will find a way to communicate with your family. You are brave and strong, remember that. But, not everyone deserves to know all your business. :)

Sweetie, don't try to be straight, it doesn't work like that. You can try but everything you force yourself to do will feel so wrong, perhaps waiting to tell him would be the best idea, be clear and honest when you do decide to tell him, and express your understanding of his feelings before you come out and say it, but wait until you are comfortable to do so. In the mean time be careful and true to your own feelings.

No you shouldnt, you should just believe what you want, if your dad disowns you, he is not a TRUE LOVING CARING DAD. if he really loves you, he would let you be whatever want. and there is nothing really wrong with being a lesbian
