Has anyone out there ever felt about someone that he/she was without a doubt the person they were going to marry?

This feeling was SO strong, it was almost as if God was speaking directly to me. (It happened in church to top things off)

We did end up dating, but our relationship broke up after about 5 mos. because he said he didn't have strong enough feelings for me. (He also realized it was too soon to date after his divorce.)

It's been 3 months, but I still feel like it's going to happen some day. We are still very close friends, and every time I try to put the past behind me, I have a weird dream, or a feeling, or he'll do something that makes me think...just hold out a while.

Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe not. Either way, I'm asking a bunch of strangers for an opinion! What does THAT say!? :-)

My ex and I were together for 2 years and have known each other for almost 3 now. He was not only my lover, fiance, father of my children, but my best friend. A couple of months ago he beat me and I will admit it wasn't only him I smacked him because something he said was very wrong for him to say. Well I'm not saying either one of us were right. Well he moved out and after a few weeks he started dating someone else and then broke up with them because we were going to get back together. Then he went to jail for something he had nothing to do with. He got out and right before he had gotten another gf, not me. i was there for him the entire time and while he was in the he said many times how much he loved me and couldn't wait to come home. However, when he got out he stayed with her and basically didn't mean anything he said while he was in there. He also said he wanted to marry me. Well i'm dating someone new. i still love him. What should I do? The new guy annoys me.

A group of my friends are going to Florida this summer. I have never been before. All I would have to pay for is the $250 roundtrip ticket and food. We are staying free at one of the girls' parents summer home. Parents will not be there.

It's a really great deal. But, I'm just not jumping for joy to go. I haven't had a vacation in 4 years. Growing up, my family rarely vacationed. So, they really aren't huge deals to me. I'm not one of those people that jumps at every oppurtunitiy to go.

Part of me says I should go, but the other part of me doesn't really care. The cost of the trip will be about $600, with $250 for the plane, about $350 for food costs and expenses money. However, it will also cost me more money, b/c I don't have luggage and I don't really have summer attire. I have a few pairs of shorts here and a few tops. I don't own a bathing suit, b/c I don't have time for the beach normally.

I met my best friend last August. For me, it was love at first sight, but it took him awhile to get on the same page as me. He finally realized he liked me too. We started dating in Dec. We have grown really close. We started talking about marrige. We agreed that we want to marry each other. (I knew I wanted to marry him the moment I saw him...i couldn't tell you what it was, I just knew) We want to get married right after our senior year of high school. (when we will both be 18) I love him more than anything in the world and I'd give anything and everything for him. I know that he feels the same way.The only factors are, are we too young? and this is only my second boyfriend, does that mean anything?

I was with this man for 6yrs and we were engaged for week and then he said he was leaving me for this girl he worked with because he had feelings for her. He still says he loves me and hes in love with me and still calls me almost everyday and wants to still be intimate and he always asks who I was out with , why wasnt I home, if I have a new boyfriend. Why does he give a rats *** about who I am seeing when he left me for someone else and she is his new girlfriend and may be pregnant now? Why doesnt he just leave me alone and move on with her since hes the one who left? I dont get it.

Ok so I am really shy when it comes to guys but I am good at giving advice about them to girls. But none of the advice I have given I can actually take! my cousins friend is 14 .....she told me this guy she knows who is 21 ....friend of the family type thing.....has been IM ing her and asking for naked pics and stuff like that and at first she went along with it because she liked him and shes kind of like that but then she decided she didnt want to and never actualy sent the pics...and he wont stop bugging her about it...I told her to turn him in .....i'm just wondering how much trouble could he actualy get in like....jailtime or anything like that???

someone thats different then all the previous women they've dated. atleast he said thats why he chose his wife. he realized she wasnt like the rest. she was more serious and just looked like someone that would be perfect for taking care of children, able to cook and just take on a motherly role.

So my question is: is this true for you men out there? for the ones that are married or single or whatever. do some of you just date women for fun? just to have a girlfriend? or do some of you actually look more into it when choosing a girlfriend? do you ever have possible marriage in your minds?

I would consider myself a classy woman, I dress in fitted shirts and flared jeans, or khakis. I am 5'7 and my measurements are 38, 28, 38. my ex gf broke up with me on the 7th of june and we dated for 3 years and 9 months and she broke up with me because i hung out with her bro 2 much and the other day she told me she like some1 but all this weekend she didnt even hang out with him............but i go to her house still cuz that's pretty much my home her parents still love me over there anyways, on saterday night we had a fire out side and out of all the places she could sit or stand she stands right behind me and 2 day we went to a fun center and we just had a blast and we were talkin and laughing and wut i guess im wondering is do we still have a shot or is it over(im 19 and she's 18 in a week)? what do u think i should do: give her room? stop seeing her for a while or just move on? We're both in college and still somewhat dependent on our parents. our parents help us financially and we go to our houses during summer/breaks. I wanna ask her to marry me, but should I get her parents' permission first? I know they'll say yes as her dad said I'm the son he's never had. (she's an only child). I'm saving up for a ring.
