A group of my friends are going to Florida this summer. I have never been before. All I would have to pay for is the $250 roundtrip ticket and food. We are staying free at one of the girls' parents summer home. Parents will not be there.
It's a really great deal. But, I'm just not jumping for joy to go. I haven't had a vacation in 4 years. Growing up, my family rarely vacationed. So, they really aren't huge deals to me. I'm not one of those people that jumps at every oppurtunitiy to go.
Part of me says I should go, but the other part of me doesn't really care. The cost of the trip will be about $600, with $250 for the plane, about $350 for food costs and expenses money. However, it will also cost me more money, b/c I don't have luggage and I don't really have summer attire. I have a few pairs of shorts here and a few tops. I don't own a bathing suit, b/c I don't have time for the beach normally.

Should I go? It's funny, b/c I can, yet can't afford it. I also want to go, but don't really care either way.
What woud you do?
I'm really good friends w/ these girls BTW. I'm 23 also.

that is a lot of cash, but i would go :)
I live in florida and honey it has been raining a lot in areas so you might not need only summer attire. you can get really cute clothes when you get here.
memories and vacations cost money, but when you are young, you need to spend as much time with your friends. jobs and marriages and kids take a lot of time

If you can find the money go and enjoy yourself.Can you borrow a suitcase from your family?Sooner or later these opportunites will pass you by andyou wont have time with work.You are old enough to go and enjoy being with your friends.

if you want to go-- go... if you cant afford luggage, get a small duffel bag, and buy a bathing suit and a couple pairs of shorts, you dont HAVE to have a whole new wardrobe
it sounds like fun if you can do it
