Ok so I am really shy when it comes to guys but I am good at giving advice about them to girls. But none of the advice I have given I can actually take! I love this guy who pretty much doesn't know I exist!! I need advice from someone who has gone through the same thing I am going through! Please Help!! I need it or else I don't know what I will do b/c I can't tell him or else we will lose our friendship and that is a really important part of my life. I know I can trust him but I don't know if I could get him to love me! Am I stupid,really stupid or a tard? Please answer both questions and be truthful and serious! Well you can try letting him notice that you DO exist. It may be difficult but you have to put some effort to get results. You have your friendship. That's a good start as any. Why not put more emphasis on that e.g. being more attentive or show little gestures of affection. Just go with the flow of how you feel when you're with him without overdoing it. He's bound to read the signs.

With a mythological screen name myself, I really like your name. You know what happened to the Cassandra in Greek mythology who gave advice, don't you?
As a Cassandra yourself, you should know you can't give advice when the facts aren't straight. First you said he hardly knows you exist, then you say you have an important friendship and you can trust him. So which is it?
Also, with your wisdom you should know that you can't make someone love you, any more than you can make a cat love you. You have to entice a cat to do something; if you try to make it do something, it runs away or scratches you. Assuming you have more than a passing acquaintance with this guy, you subtly escalate the relationship over time. You don't have the courage to directly confront him about your feelings (be honest with yourself), and it's probably not a good idea anyway because he might just run away, as you fear.
And if he really doesn't know you exist, are you sure you're not projecting a fantasy onto him? Maybe you should concentrate more on guys that you know have feet of clay.

If you don't tell him, then he'll never know. Maybe you should try with hinting so it won't look too obvious. Good luck!

no offense, and i dont mean this in a bad way but u are being kinda paranoid. loosen up and talk to him, drop hints, go to parties with him, spend alot of time with him. eventually he will start to realize what you are trying to do.
