my cousins friend is 14 .....she told me this guy she knows who is 21 ....friend of the family type thing.....has been IM ing her and asking for naked pics and stuff like that and at first she went along with it because she liked him and shes kind of like that but then she decided she didnt want to and never actualy sent the pics...and he wont stop bugging her about it...I told her to turn him in .....i'm just wondering how much trouble could he actualy get in like....jailtime or anything like that???

You must turn him in. I know you might not want him to go to jail, and you might hink that what he is doing is harmless, but it really isnt. Even though he might not be hurting your cousin, someday down the road he might be hurting some other girl, and it all could have been stopped here.

Legally speaking, It is not sexual harrassment but rather sexual predatoring. Due to the fact that he is an adult and your cousin is under 18 years old, if he is caught, he could be charged with felony solicitation of a minor (for improper sexual favors including pics) and if convicted, could go to prison and be sentenced to register as a sex offender for possibly the rest of his life.

If he doesn't stop, tell the girl to tell her parents. I know, they might get mad but if they really love her, they'll protect her. If he keeps on bugging her, report him to the police or try to get a restraining order.
