Yes, I'll wait until the day of my birthday when I open them - but I have her ebay account (she let me use it once recently) and I happened to see things she bought for me.

I've been learning Hiragana and Katakana lately (Japanese) - I already have flash cards for them. Once I learn both alphabets completely I won't need anything else about them.

My mother, I saw, bought me more sets of flash cards... the ones for CHILDREN. Very childish... downright embarrassing for someone my age. And a poster of the two alphabets also for children.

What do I do?? She wasted, like $40 right there.

Me and my boyfriend are very much in love been together 2 years.. We both were married for almost a decade before we met and now I feel so much in love with this man.. however we both have kids from our previous marriages and, I have been a little frustrated with the situation.. I guess I want to live with him already and have our first child together. But when I bring the m word he says he knows I want that and then says we have to worry about our children we already have and that he knows I cant wait much longer. I guess I just want him to ask the big question soon.. we have an excellent relationship we love each other deeply we never argue and talk a lot about many things I can honestly say we are the best of friends, but sometimes he says he worries and is even scared, because of his ex how she would change with him once she finds out that he would marry again and try to take more money ... Do you think I should be optimistic about him asking me the big Q?

There's this girl and I really like her. At school I have to act a certain way so I can keep my friends, but it's not me. He's my best friend ex CRUSH not boyfriend. He knew we liked him, especially my friend, but she actually told him that. So, recently, she said since we be on myspace and we have things to talk about, we should hook up. I was just wondering.... I have a friend who was my former teacher and ever since the semester ended, we have talked through email all the time. We have also gone to lunch a couple of times since then. She is pregnant and married. She told me to call her by her first name by implying she wants to be friends and she actually got me and my b/f started on a hobby that her and her husband do. Well anyway.. I think she she is a really good person and I would really like our friendshipto progress into where we become better friends as in that I mean talking on the phone and visiting each other at our houses and stuff like that. Well I am unsure if she wants to be friends like I do but I guess time will tell. I am planning on asking her if it were ok if I brought a meal to her house after the baby is born for her and her husband but I dont know what she would say. See my bf's best friend's wife is my best friend (lol), and she told me that my boyfriend told his best friend at work that "I usually spend all weekend with her, I dont have time to do nothing anymore." But, he is always the one who calls me to do things, he makes ALL the plans so he chooses to do this, so why did he say that?

I am currently a student in college. I am 25 years old so of course I should probably be done with school by now. I had my first son at the age of 18, so working and trying to make it through college as a single parent was tough for me. Now, 7 years later I am married with a 2yr old son.I love my husband so much. He is a hardworking police officer and also the bread winner of the family. Things are okay financially, but sometimes they aren't. When money problems arise my hubby then turns on me and makes me feel as if I am just wasting time in school and that I should be working. I am a full time student (Junior)so I'm in school everyday, all day. Then I pick up the kids, come home, help with homework, cook dinner and also try and maintain the house. My hubby on the other hand works from 2-11p.m. Then comes home and watches TV...nothing else. And on his off days it's hard for me to get him to take the trash out. I'm just wondering if I should stop going to school and get a job.

I'll make this short, met a girl at the beach Saturday, talked on phone since then, we both had one sex partner, she took 6 months to put out for her ex-bf, she picked me up today (Wed), we walked at the mall for 45 minutes, she seems very comfortable to talk about sex on the phone but didn't let me make my moves on her, I tried to get a kiss on the lips 4 times, she said she had to go (school tomorrow), she drove me home, last time before she dropped me off, she pointed at cheek, and that's all I kissed. I invited her to my place, she said we should hang out this weekend and that she had to go. I'm 18, she's 17 if that helps.

I'm frustrated because usually I can make out with a girl right when I meet them, this was a 2nd meeting & first date and I got NOTHING.

Question: What can I do to beat her at her own game, I heard that I shouldn't even try kissing her next time, what else might beat her at her own game of hard to get?

Im gonna go on a trip to stay with my family for a few weeks. Let me say that this was all my choice and no one is putting me in this situation. I dont get to see my family very often, so this is really important to me. But my uncle is a jerk and treats me like crap, and I will be staying with them because my aunt will be having her 3rd baby while im up there, so she wants me to help her since im really good with kids. I get really uncomfortable around my uncle. My parents know how he treats me, and my dad talked to him about it. My dad said that if he ever does anything again, slap or punch or knock him down. When a random person makes me feel bad, I defend myself and talk back. But when my uncle does it, i feel terrible because he is "family". Should I stay with my dads uncle instead? I really dont want to make them run back and forth to take me from my dads uncle and back, but I dont wanna deal with MY uncle for 3 whole weeks!

my bf and i have been dating for 2.5 years now. we have a great relationship and he's very close to my 3 daughters from a previous marriage.

right from the start of our relationship (well 2 months in-that was when we first slept together), he's always been very physically attracted to me.

anytime i come over to see him at his house (several times a week), he's all over me and wants to make love w/in the first hour that i'm there (he will ask me how my day was, how the kids are if they aren't with me,etc). this has been constant for the whole 2.5 years now.

we've discussed marriage/living together and will probably be engaged w/in next 6 months.

i'm just confused as to why his sex drive is so high w/me. he says it's b/c he's in love with me and that when he's making love to me-he feels the closest to me that is possible. he says he couldnt make love to me if he wasn't in love with me.

is this a good sign that even after almost 3 years he wants it so much?!!

I just met this guy last Friday @ a party & we've hanged out twice on our own. We've talked to each other everyday since we met & when we hang out we act like if we are going out (holding hands, making out, etc.). When we are together he makes me feel like he really likes me and makes me feel appreciated and hot. BUT, here is the detail, he just recently broke up w/ his girlfriend who he was living with & he is dating this other girl @ the same time that me n me him are talking. Now, I understand that because I guess u can pretty much say we're both playing the field. But, unfortunately I am starting to really really like him and today has been the first time he doesn't call so I don't know what to think. Why is it that whenever my hubby gets upset he immediately starts talking about my ex-boyfriend and comparing my situation with my ex?
We could have an argument or discussion about cars and he'll state the ex's name!
Why does he do this? I've tried asking him why he mentions the ex, and his response is more anger and then points the finger at me?!
I don't understand...I mean if the conversation was about ex's; ok, mention names, but if we're no where near the topic of my last ex, why would he mention him?
Keep in mind, my relationship with this certain ex wasn't even anything special. He wasn't my first love, in fact I was just with him to kill time...seriously...my ex was that irrelevant to me. Yet my husband, who I love soo much and think is so great, always compares our situation to the looser ex that couldn't make a difference in a fly's life!
The only connection b/n the 2 was that my husband was my best friend at the time of dating my ex (who I was only with 8 months). Help!
