I was just wondering.... I have a friend who was my former teacher and ever since the semester ended, we have talked through email all the time. We have also gone to lunch a couple of times since then. She is pregnant and married. She told me to call her by her first name by implying she wants to be friends and she actually got me and my b/f started on a hobby that her and her husband do. Well anyway.. I think she she is a really good person and I would really like our friendshipto progress into where we become better friends as in that I mean talking on the phone and visiting each other at our houses and stuff like that. Well I am unsure if she wants to be friends like I do but I guess time will tell. I am planning on asking her if it were ok if I brought a meal to her house after the baby is born for her and her husband but I dont know what she would say. Does it seem like if i kept on.. we might become good friends??What do you think?

You are no longer a student. THe teacher student 'feeling' may linger for a while, but if you two have enough in common then a real freindship is bound to develop.

I actually think that maybe she has already seen you as a friend. And who wouldn't want to have more friends?? I think you can be better friends with her.. I mean she's not your teacher anymore.. My mother and her teacher is actually good friends, you know..^^ You could try doing what you've written though.. I think it's a great idea..^^

It seems as if she has already accepted you as a friend. Deliver the meal, but enough for all of you. She might invite you to stay for awhile. If she does not it might mean that she is not ready for guests. Go for it!

Why do you keep asking the same question over and over?
