My Indian boyfriend of nearly 8 months told me that his parents calls him and pressure him to get marry with an Indian girl. I am Asian, and we are both studying in a 3rd countly. He was planning to go back to India for summer vacation, but now he is alarmed. Because if he goes back, his parents would set him up with a girl they selected. At this moment, he is not that much into marriage. We are getting along pretty well, but we never talk about marriage because I didn't want him to feel "pressured". So even this time I let him make his own decision. Deep inside of my heart however, I always fear that he would suddenly dump me and marry a girl from his own religion and caste. So even if he could somehow avoid his parents' pressure this time, same subject will surely arise when he completes his study (6 months later). My question is, will he ever marry me in the future if he really loves me? Will his parents approve? I'm 6 years older than him.

I am a little older than my wife, and my concept of money is a bit better than hers. I am a saver, and she is a spender. I make more money than her, but she spends more than me. I tried setting up budgets for the week, and at the end of the week, I may have 100-150 dollars left, and she has none and is always asking for some of my budget money because she is out. What should I do?

My wife got sick and passed out early in the night. I put her to bed and while the rest of us were outside eating and drinking, he went into our room, pulled the sheets off her and raped her. She didn't remember much about it and thought it was just a dream until the next morning when he grabbed her into the bathroom and said to keep what happened last night a secret. She asked if they had sex and he said "Yes, I f@#$ you and I liked it. You turn me on, lets do it again." She said no and he said that if she told me, I'd lose my job. She told me 2 days later on the way home. I turned around and went back to his cabin to confront him. He denied it and got violent and abusive. When we reported it to the police, she had already had showers, been in the river and had sex with me. The police said there was no reason to go on since there was no physical evidence. How do I make sure he pays for what he did to my wife and my family?

I'll sum this up... im 19 and my parents are very very rich. They give me anything i want... nice cars, my own house, money... but its like they're controlling who i date. They have VERY high standards of the girls i bring back home. As soon as i bring a girl home, if she's not rich they'll start dissing her. The girls i bring back are always good looking but not always rich, and my parents do background checks on these girls' and their families. and then if they're parents arent doctors or CEO's they dont like the girl.

what can i do to change this?

I recently came out of "a short yet productive relationship" (or so it was) like 2 months ago and it really put me in a not so good emotional place. I really dont like going out now, i hate going to clubs, I dont even flirt with guys like I did, my confidence some what shot and its got to the point where I just wanna be alone and have lots of me time. I have my schedule jam packed with work so that I have an excuse for my friends when they want me to go out with them. I even turn off my cell phone on hours on end (I have to have it on sometimes cause I'm on call but I screen peoples calls...lol).
I dont feel attractive anymore and It really sucks.I've heard the whole "no man is an island BS and that you need to get back in the game".
How can I do that and consatly get disappointed and HURT all the time? What am I doing wrong?

My brother n laws only child is almost 8 yrs old and has autism. Everytime my wife and I go over to there house (or vise versa) their daughter hurts our 4 yr old. Just yesterday when the older girl jumped off the swing she would literally sling the swing back into my daughter (she did this not just once or twice but 4 times).
And when we "go to the rescue" of our daughter's hard cryin, we hear things like. It's not XXXX'x fault, she's just that way, just gotta let her go /or the swing just dont swing straight. Not even an attempt to disapline.
My wife and I both for years tried to "keep the peace", but our child is getting hurt and how long till it's serious? What would you do?

This may or may not happen often, but here's my story... To begin, I'll start by saying that I'm in the military. I met a girl at a club on base that I've been seeing for a couple days now. By "seeing", I mean we've been dancing and having a good time together, keeping it clean. The problem is, she's married. Despite the ring on her finger, we flirt back and forth like shes single. At the end of the night though, I respect that ring and it goes no farther than a hug. It's the morally right thing to do, but its obviously hard to deal with. I'm not in love with her, but every time she mentions her husband in a story where he neglected her or took her for granted, my heart just sinks. Of course, right now is the time that need to make a decision on whether to see her anymore. I'm sure the answer to this is buried somewhere in a romance novel.. He comes in my bedroom even through he's not allow, he says I'm retarded and stupid, tells me to shut up, interpputs me when I'm talking to someone, hits me in the arm and teases me about everything! And I mean everything! What I watch, what I do now the computer (I even have to keep it a secret to my parents that I'm writing a story in microsoft word, so he wouldn't bug me and tease!) He also teases me about how I much friends I have (eight friends is bad?) And teases me about almost everything. Once in a while he can be nice, but most of the time it seems like he's a monster. I am not sure what to say anymore? He is going out to the bars 6 nights a week until late, says things like" I want to be alone, I want to have things the way they were before i got married and had a kid, I can do what I want to" and so on...None of his old friends are married or have kids. These men are almost 40 by the way if that gives you any idea on how immature THEY are too. No one will marry them to be frank!! He won't take me anywhere cuz he wants to portray being single and not wanting to watch our son. He thinks it is "boring" to take our son to the park and have meals together. He'd rather go out to bars all night and then eat junk at 2am. I can't take it anymore. He has people over here at night when I am trying to sleep for work and get our baby to sleep. What do I say or do about this? How can you get an almost 40 yo man to give up his past stuff and be a hubby/dad????
