My twin sister told me how she saw her neighbors in her apt. complex with a fire in their home. Tell me why it was over 90 degrees outside, & the younger family members hurried up & got out, & then waited a LONG time to say, "Oh. We forgot Grandma!" & then she said that they dragged their skinny grandma out of the house, onto the scalding hot concrete & left her lying on the ground, & then they waited until the ambulance came after 10 minutes to put the poor old grandma in her wheelchair. Now HOW COULD YOU FORGET YOUR GRANDMA?

I almost cried when my twin sister told me this. Either those people are cold-hearted or they're some ditzy dummies. & my twin sister thinks that they just did that so they can get more money for the fire incident so they can sue somebody. I don't think they accidentally left that woman. It sounds like they did it on purpose. I'm about to cry, thinking about that now. & my twin sister said that she doesn't think that the lady survived.

k so me and my bf will be talking on the phone and no matter wat there is always a lot of dead silence. I hate it. So in the past I have always phoned him, he never phones me. And then I always have to initiate the convo if it ever stops, and he is always always, doing something else while we are on the phone, ususally its the tv, other times its the computer and the odd times left out hes talking to his mom, step-dad, or sister, or brother, so heres my delema,
when I do actually initiate the convos he listens for a bout 1 sec, and if I dont we dont talk, God its driving me absolutly bonkers

i broke up with this one girl around thanksgiving, a little after that (maybe 2 weeks) we started doing things as friends, we have now spent every friday for the past several months together at the least usually we get together just the two of us at least two or three times a week and talk on the phone for a couple of hrs on all the other nights.

I'm finding i made a huge mistake by breaking up with her, and i honestly think shes amazing and i really like her.

Well I asked her out and she said she can't, she is a complete commitment phobe and she asked me to have us keep doing exactly what we have been doing. this was almost 2 or 3 months ago now, nothing changed afterwards

we ended up going to prom together 2 weeks ago

well we got to talking about how things were between us, and i found out she likes me the way i like her but in her words ".. i always seize up when i get into a relationship with anyone..way to much pressure.. " etc. claims to be a complete comitment phobe

Just curious. I have noticed this trend that most of teh times white guys don't go for brown girls and it does seem like they have never considered it as an option. What is it? true? not true? why?

my extended family (on both my mom's and dad's sides) aren't rail thin, so of course I am not either. I'm not fat, I wouldn't even say overweight, I'm just not thin. A lot of my friends are really thin and i get really jealous and really depressed. It seems that the skinnier you are the more successful you are with your love life. I def have bigger boobs that most of my friends which just shows the difference in our body types and the genes we have inherited... but I just feel that guys are lookin at the skinnier girls more than at girls like me.

I like to get out of the house. Since I am working on a dissertation, I like to have a "plan" for doing something fun, even if it is taking a walk or cooking something or going to a movie or a specific event, but I like to plan and schedule my fun since I have to work on my studies so much the rest of the time. He says he likes to "live day to to day" and not make plans, but when we do this, we usually end up watching tv or eating a simple meal or just doing chores. Since I am also recently divorced (about five months ago), this just doesn't suit me. I want to get out of the house and have fun or at least make plans to do *something*. Am I being unreasonable? I told him he made plans when we started dating. It's only been three months since we've been dating. I am 33.

I've been going out with a guy from Seattle (I live in L.A.) for awhile now. I talk to him everyday on the phone and online, or any way I can. I probably get to see him every few months, quite regularly. I really like him, but I just don't know if it can really work out with the distance. What should I do?

Especially if you were the "injured spouse". How did you 'just let it go" How did you stop from talking about it? I am the injured spouse and it has been 8 months, but I still find myself bringing it up or throwing some really nasty comments to my husband about it. And I know that talking about it isnt going to change it and will only delay the healing, but how do i get myself to stop. It is driving my husband insane and I honestly think I have made him pay enough for it so i need to stop the verbal abuse or its going to ruin my marriage. Any suggestions to help me with this would be appreciated. Thanks.

When I talk to people they seem to like me well enough, but we never extend it to actually hanging out. What I want to know is, how do you go about making friends? I can collect girls numbers well enough, get myself profiles, but I'm just to nervous to extend it.

I have been in a significant relationship with my girlfriend for about 18 months now. I love her and am convinced that she is the one I want to marry. My problem is, that I feel like she has gained almost 30 pounds since we first met, and while I don't want to seem superficial or hurt her feelings, I feel like I need to say that she has let herself go, and hasn't taken as good of care of herself as she used to. Without hurting anybody's feelings, or making me seem like the bad guy, how do I get her to lose some weight and be the person I fell in love with? I still love her of course, but I was much more attracted to her, physically, than I am now.
