any relationship can work, as long as both parties are willing to put the effort into it. however, long distance relationships require an extra amount of effort. in order for ldr's to 'really' work, u both must share a common goal in the end, whether it be to live together in one city or the other or to continue forever as a ldr. without this common goal, someone will come up short.

NO! Relationships need time and connection...hence the words: LONG DISTANCE.
I guess that is one of the reasons why "celebrities" never stay together long....One week you're filming in Paris, the next week you have a photoshoot in New York...while your lover is on the other half of the globe....and your co-star is lookin' kinda good....
