every man likes something different. in general it seems like if you are proportionate and appear to take care of yourself men will be interested.
overweight will most likely never be anyone's ideal, but since you are not, i think you just haven't found the right guy.
p.s. trust me when i say that having big boobs is only going to work in your favor, especially as you get older and those girls are not so skinny anymore. you'll always have your boobs!

Sorry to say it, but because of the images on TV and in the media, thinner or athletic girls are mostly more popular to most men.
Another perspective is that apart from inheritance from your family, your appearance can say a lot about you immediately, without even talking. Some of the family weight could be from eating habits within the family and some could be genes. However if a guy sees a woman with really tight pants and a half shirt with her belly hanging out, they're mostly going to get turned off. A 'thick' woman, not fat, can look very good with the right clothes...just don't try to dress like a thin girl...it looks really bad...like a stuffed sausage.
However, there are a lot of men out there that like a little more to hold on a woman. Unfortunately they're either pretty big themselves (making sex a little difficult) or they're usually in the bottom income bracket (its in the statistics)...or both. I'm not saying it's fair or right, but in many guys' minds, a woman who doesn't take care of herself even when she's young is not likely to be a good wife and will probably just get fatter and lazier or more selfish later. I'm not saying that's true, but it is a subconscious perception.
My advice would be to ask a nutritionist about your weight if it really bothers you. Maybe your genes are influencing your weight, or maybe your eating habits from growing up in a large family are the key. Start walking or exercising...a little at first then more later.
Take Care and Good Luck

it's true most guys are looking at the thinner girls but there are some guys out there who like a woman with some meat on her body. so don't give up. weight is more important to a man then brains but there are men out there who go for brains over weight. I'm a little over weight myself and I always felt bad about guys looking at the thin girls and not giving me the time of day. but I learn over time that you need to respect yourself first. and someday you will find a guy who looks at you the same way. Most of those thin girls that I had known their relationships never worked out and they couldn't hold on to a good man. and there always someone out there who's thinner and better looking then the next person. I just learned to deal with it and I'm happy with my life and how things turned out in the end.

It's kinda important . . . you should be alright as long as you're not fat though. Without seeing a picture or at least having your height and weight, it's impossible for me to tell you if you've got anything to work on or if you're worrying for nothing. Message me if you post any more details or another question on the matter. Oh yeah, your age matters too . . . guys look for different things at different ages (if they're like 13, they might be far more picky than at, say, 20). Post that also. Later!

The more a woman weighs, the less money her boyfriend will have.
The vast majority of men prefer women that are in good shape, and we always try to get the best we can. If you're a poor guy, you don't have that much to offer, that's why poor guys date fat chicks.
And not all black guys like fat women, only the poor ones because that can't get anything better.
Look at Tiger Woods, he's a rich black guy and he married a super model.

Believe it or not, more men like women with meat than women with bones! A guy loves hips, butts, and boobs because they add curves to the body.
But even the skinny blonde can lose every guy she sees if she's not self-confident. Be proud of who you are. Accept who you are, and take care of yourself by eating right and staying healthy. It's not about losing weight, it's about just being healthy at your natural weight.
I'm 25, and weigh 229 pounds. NOT SKINNY, and it's genetic. But I have a man who thinks I'm the hottest thing he's seen, and he's been married to me for 4 years. And he loved me before he'd ever seen me skinny in my teenage years!

Well to me, and i am speaking for myself, nobody else, I dont really care how much a girls weighs. Im not sayin that ANY weight is fine. There are limits. For example, id probally not go out with a girl whos heavier then me or so thin and light i can pick her up withh one arm. Those are pretty much my "boundaries". However, i mostly like girls for their personality and there apperance from neck up.

Girl....these are pure 100 % myths.
If i was to go out, i would prefer a plump healthy girl anyday to a skinny figure.
Think of it....you need some curves to hold on to rather than the bones of a skinny skeleton.

It depends on the guy. Some guys like fat girls. Some like really skinny girls. Some like myself do like girls who are in the middle. It depends on one's tastes. My girl friend had a problem with a guy who had a feet fetish lol. He wanted to feel her feet and even smell them. Yuck LOL
