For example, knowing the infidelity of a friends' mate, will you lie knowing it just not to hurt her/him? Or just lying just to make a story short?

My husband and I have had a great marriage up until recently, primarily due to my getting upset with him spending so much time shooting pool/drinking beer rather than spending time with me -this has been going on for a couple of months now. We do spend time by ourselves, with friends, but it's gotten out of hand here recently and I have some serious issues with it. I don't understand why he can't go hang out for awhile and be home at a decent hour - what I believe would exhibit respect for our marriage. He thinks I'm "crazy" and that I overreact. However, I have a difficult time thinking that any wife would accept such behaviors. I have shared this concern with him early on but it's progressively worsened and I am terribly unhappy. I love him and don't believe in divorce, yet I'm heading closer to that everyday. He says he doesn't want me to leave but I haven't seen him put forth any effort to change and I don't want to be unhappy for the rest of my life. Am I overreacting?

What are your views on this? And if it's O.K. for the woman to make the first move, is it O.K. all the time for her to make the first move?

My partner and I are getting married next year in a catholic church. I am catholic and he was brought up protestant though having being baptised in a catholic church. Thanks to peoples answers on here I now know that as he is baptised catholic he is basically catholic just not church going. He received no protestant sacraments. What my question is that as he has only received the sacrament of baptism in the catholic church does he have to have the other sacraments (communion and confirmation) before he can get married in the catholic church. We would like to have a catholic wedding. Our daughter was christened catholic also. We have discussed this and (only if he really has to) is willing to have these sacraments if this is the only way for us to have our catholic wedding. A protestant wedding is really out of the question as he was never baptised into the church. To be honest, a bad decistion on behalf of his parents. Baptised into one religion and raised another. Unfair on the child

Just curious...some people think it's ok cause they see it as...fair game. Some think it's never OK. Some think it's only OK when a long time, like years, has passed. What about you? Where do you fall? And now when I say date, I mean something serious...like, you could possibly marry this person.

I'm 17 years old and I haven't had sex yet. I plan on hanging out with this guy I sort of like over the summer. I don' t want to go out with him, but he's willing to do things that I kind of want to do, but I'm not sure yet...I kind of don't want to have sex, because I'm thinking that waiting until I'm married would be the 'good' thing to do, also it would be a nice gift for my future husband, and I might regret having sex if I do. On the other hand, I really want to (hehe I guess I'm kind of horny) and I might go insane if I wait until I'm married, also I'm thinking that I might regret not having more fun and following my intuition in my High School years, and that when I am married I might regret not having more sexual adventures before sticking with one guy. So basically what I'm asking is, am I missing out if I wait before I'm married to have sex? I really am stumped on this one, and I can't make up my mind. Do you guys have any helpful tips or suggestions? What should I do?

iam 18 shy christian guy, who also wears glasses. I nor do i want someone who does alcohol, smokes, and does drugs. Looking for someone who doesnt go for looks, and wants a long lasting relationship. I for one can care less about sex and i am waiting till i get married, also body parts i dont give a crap about. Iam one of the shy guys that would tell a girl, she is beautiful and gorgaous by her natural beauty and personallity, no need for makeup or a tan, just beautiful without it. I havent had a face to face relationship. All of mine have come from online dating. Only way i can open up, iam shy around crowds and am nervous.i do show my nervous and blush, i never try to hide it. I cant wear contacts and i cant get lazer eye surgery. I dont really know if iam ugly, i think iam alright. I wish i was physically attractive, but again i could care less if a girl was or not to anyone else, just enough for me. Im wondering if any girls would go for a guy like me?

I used to send my brother and his family gifts for Christmas. However, I never received anything in return.

Now, he and I have had a misunderstanding. He told me something that I did not like and I hung up on him . I sent a note apologizing to him and he did not respond.

Now my parents are overseas for a 1 1/2 weeks. I live with them currently. He does not even call to see how I am doing.

He thinks that I am bipolar, but I am not. He is on meds for it and thinks that its hereditary. I don't believe it and am seeing a Counselor who says that I am not bipolar.

Do brother/ sisters normally stay close? His wife is close to her family. My brother is 6 years younger than me though.

theres this guy i've liked for a while now. (he's white) and i go to a 70% white school. im afraid to talk to him because i'm afraid he'd only like me as a friend, because ive come up with a little theory at my school, that most white guys are only romantically interested in white girls, because thats all i ever see. is it wrong to feel this way?

my husband and i deliver newspapers for income for at this time. We have been delivering papers for over a year. We deliver around 450 papers a day to local residents. Our paper routes are walking routes. We deliver 7 days a week, we haven't had a day off in over a year. We deliver Monday-Friday between noon and 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 3a.m. to 8 a.m. I am in college, finishing this spring and will be able to get a good paying job. I told my husband its time to down grade to 100 papers for extra money, with in the next few months. Every time i tell him about down grading, he gets up set because he doesn't think we will make bills. I told him that he would keep the papers for a job and i will get a better job. He can't do 450 papers himself and won't down grade. How can i try to convince him to get arid of some of these papers? I How can i explain to him that i am moving on to another job without hurting him? I think he doesn't understand that i don't like working everyday day.

I have gone over and above the call of a girlfriend. Im always there when he needs me, i buy him random gifts of things that he may see and i know he may like, write him notes and letters and he is just as romantic sometimes but mostly after an argument. One day i asked him why he treats me bad sometimes when im always good to him. He said maybe im just too nice to him thats why he treats me like that.

What does that mean? Is nice a bad thing?

I've had a boyfriend for three months. I know he would never cheat on me. He's not that kind of person. He has a lot of friends that are girls and we share a lot of friends. He talks to them, hugs them, and has tickle fights with them. I know it's just friendly and doesn't mean anything, but I still get jealous. And now that we're going to go to different colleges in the fall I worry about him finding another girl who's prettier, nicer, funnier than me. I'm so insecure with myself. I don't want to be jealous. Please help me to get rid of this useless emotion.
