we usually fight about the dumbest things. for example, about another guy looking at me, or not haning out or lately about me not doing things for him and he does things for me. he thinks its "unfair". what do i do?

After a casual lunch date with someone I met recently, I thanked the guy and extended my right hand for a hand shake. The guy said he would give me a hug instead. I allowed him, but now I think I should have said, "No I am uncomfortable with that"
Was is too much of him to offer a hug instead?

My girlfriend and I are temporarily split up. She has 3 kids and we all get along real well. She has an ex from 4 years prior who is the kids father. He is a REAL bad ass who abused her and everyone else for that matter. He keyed my car and found my phone number by breaking into my car. When he called he threatened that something was going to happen to me if i dont stay away from his kids and that he didnt care. He now knows where I live and says he has friends who do his dirty work. He has also told the kids that he likes cracking skulls and wants his fist to meet my nose.
My GF thinks i should be concerned, though thinks he wouldnt do anything. I am taking the easier road and just saying "I'll pass" because of his violent past . I do care for her a lot and she is doubting this.
As well, I recently have been vigilant to protect myself and home. This past week i have some evidence that someone has tried to get into my front door early in the morning 2 times. I am scared

So guys, say you talk to a girl for a length of time and are very into her, you call her lots and text etc. Ok date happens and its just not there for you and this is not a girl who lives close or that you have to see on a day to day basis. How do you handle her wanting more? If she text you, do you text back? Calls do you answer? I am the gal and my head tells me he was not into me but heart wants. I text and ask the have things changed he said no but sure doesn't contact as much? No lovey dovey text from him like in the past but does text and answer my text, have noticed the avoiding sweet words text but again he said no change and once when he couldn't talk even ask if he was in trouble? But why wouldn't he want to talk like in the past, pre date if it was there and if its not there then why not cut ties all together? I just don't like wondering and have ask but still left to wonder.

i seem to have problems with dating. i meet alot of guys but i wont date them, socialize too much with them, i wont even kiss a guy them if he doesnt seem to be interested in a serious relationship.

and while i'm getting to know a guy initially by talking to him, if i pick up on anything that i think will present a problem for ME later i wont bother. i may talk and have a little fun at the moment while i'm talking to him but thats the extent of it, sometimes i dont even give out my phone number.

when it comes to sex i just dont have sex unless its a serious involvement and we're in love and are playing for keeps.

i'd LIKE to date alot and have fun with the guys but i just dont do it because i dont want to wind up in any troublesome situations and i also dont want any guy bothering with me when i'm not really interested in him. its just too much going on these days and way too many std and hiv incidences.

do i need to change my ways or loosen up some? or am i good as i am?

We're getting married Oct. 2008.
It seems like a long time from now but venues in the mountains get booked up *quickly* for Fall weddings, so we need to find some places ASAP!

I'm not worried about the reception location (tent on a farm).

But the location for the ceremony is driving me NUTS!

We'd prefer a place around Asheville, NC. Or at least in western North Carolina…but I would be ok with North Georgia, Virginia or Tennessee as well.

We are looking to do a really non-traditional/non-denominational HIPPIE BOHEMIAN type ceremony.

We really want to find an area (with decent parking) that you enter into a BIG open forest.

We want the trees to totally *surround* us and just feel like we are really IN the woods.

We can find mountain overlooks and *partially* wooded areas galore, but none that are more-or-less closed off with trees!

PLEASE help point us in the right direction!!!

i said (just to see what she thought) " i'm colpletely dropping you as a friend." She did NOT care. So were not friends anymore. She doesn't care about me. So i don't feel bead not caring about her. Am in a long distance relationship (he's in the USA, am in France) for over a year now and we are both 21. He is virgin by choice until wedding while I did it before with just 1 guy. Yesterday he said jokingly he started to have grey hair because of all the stress him being virgin still. I was kinda hurt but said nothing and then today we had a fight because he told me he wish he did it when he was younger before we met to get it done with.
I said it's not really nice for me and he was like "how is it your problem if I did it before meeting you. I don't get pissed because you had sex before meeting me do I! Is it so wrong for me thinking about it? it's easy for you you did it before!"

So should I really worry about it or not? Am really down because I happen to realise webcamming and videos isn't enough. I feel like am not giving him enough or else he wouldn't be regretting being a virgin suddenly. I know he's not a cheater so how should I be reacting instead?

Okay I am a dirt bag and I have been sorry to my ex. We had been together for nearly 2 years and I just hated my life that i didnt care what i was doing to her. I lied to her, and even embezzeled money from my job. When I got out of jail she was there and she was going to be there for me if i went to prison I have no doubt. To me that was true love because she was always going to be ther. Well I wanted to be the guy she deserved so I admitted everything to her I didnt want to be livein a lie or have any lies between us. I apologized to friends and family that i had hurt trying to change my life and be a better person. But once she found out the truth she was hurt and now its over between us. She broke up with me when I was trying to change and do the right thing, I know it hurt but wasnt i makeing the right decision. My question is do I hold on to hope and fight for her or just give her her wish and let her be and just become a silent friend? I want her to be happy

I have been corresponding with someone for a while now and I have grown a fondness for her. The problem is, I've never seen a photo of her before. She claims to be a college student but types like an illiterate... lol. I know that's just a "front", though.

She says that she values our friendship but won't drop the spelling front (not that it matters but I do wish to know the "real" her). Come to think of it, the only thing I know of her is her full name. Do you think she's serious about this friendship or should I completely forget about her and move on with my life?
