Me & my partner lived over 250 miles apart & it was tough going. We are now living toegther after 2 yrs apart. Best way we got through it was to be be completly open & honest with each other. Keep in contact as much as possible throughout the day (even if they are just txt messages) Plan wk ends together so you both have something to look forward to.

Keep in contact all the time.Just cool down the relationship for a while because it might not hold the way you are now,cuz it sounds like a great relationship.Maybe when you can go down and see them. For how long will this be?

If they're living there permanently that's a tough one. If they're just there temporarily, learn the language. I was in a similar situation. She was in Spain for several months and had I not been fluent in Spanish there would have been no communication between us.
