shes disgusting! she doesnt cook, clean, not even take care of herself, nevermind her child. i know a lot of you are already thinking "its not your kid,dont worry about it" but when its me this child depends on as a mother figure, and not her mom, it is my problem. she does not cook, every night she has my s.d. she takes her out to eat, and its crap, either jack and the box, or dennys for french toast. she DOES NOT clean, her house is so disgusting, my husband and i had to clean it, and when it was to gross for us, we had to pay someone to professionally clean it. she doesnt care how my s.d does in school, she could do completely horrible all the days she with her, and still, take her out for dinner and the movies, and then complain to us she has no money to do the important things...like take her to the dentist, which was $2000 dollars, and i told my husband, we are not paying her a cent for it because a)she has the money from a trust fund and b)she didnt get the cavaties with us

I broke up with my bf 2 weeks ago after a 3 yrs relationship. I met another guy who seemed charming and sweet but he proved to be a huge ***hole and everything he wanted was sex (i am 23 he is 39 and i thought man at that age are different) Anyhow i didn't do anything with him and i think this bothered him
My problem is that i feel really really lonely. I don't have many friends bc now i reallise that all MY friends were actually my EX'es friends.
I feel like calling him but i know it is a huge mistake...but i am feeling so so bad and i need someone close to me in whom i can trust.

My real issue is that i love a man i used to date but everything is lost with him. there is no way i can get back together with him.

I don't think anybody understood anything i wrote but i just needed to get it out my chest. I'm so so so ****** lonley.

I have a friend who is a married woman and has lots of guy friends (who are single). Her husband throws a fit if she goes to dinner alone with a guy friend. He thinks it's ok for them to have lunch together but not dinner. That seems old fashioned to me. What do you all think?

ok this guy comes into work and is really sweet.. says nice things and asks for a date (this happened on sat.) so we make plans to go for lunch at 1 today (wed.) he gives me his email and phone number... so I email him and he never emails me bck.. then i tryed to text him last night to make sure we were still on and he has not texted me back... so what the hell do i do.. go to the restaurant at 1 like we planned or take it that it is off since he has not gotten back to me?... I told him sat to let me know if anything changed but he just has not got in touch with me at all.. i expected him to come back into the store yesterday to confirm.. im confused at what to do. Would it be appropriate to call him at work to confirm in case i put his number in my phone wrong.. (and since i was nervous that would not surprise me) do i just call him quick and see if its still on or is that too forward... i just hate guessing at what i am doing for the day

I have been seeing a man who lives 90 min. away for 4 mos. - we see each other on wknds sometimes. There is no commitment or I love you's or anything like that.but we have been friends for years.

I got asked out by a man close to where I live and felt weird about going since I was really unsure about the status of our relationship so I just told him that I was feeling weird about turning this other guy down since I doubted he was doing the same. He ended up coming and spending the weekend (just the 2 of us for the first time).

On the last day, he randomly said he didn't hook up with any women, then asked who asked me out, I told him and he sort of grudginly said I could go....at which point I told him I wasn't asking for his permission, I just wanted to be honest. So it ended there and everything was fine.

Then on the way home I told him I had asked him because I knew we were just friends w/ ben. so to speak and he seemed offended by this. What in the name of God is going on?

We are on a really tight budget and we're still up to almost $13,000. We have 200 guest (mostly family). I would rather just skip the annoying bells and other expensive favors. One idea I liked was buying disposable cameras and setting them around the room for candid shots and having a collection bin, but cameras are like $8 a piece and I don't want my friends and family to be my photographers. Another thing I was thinking was letting everyone take home flowers (we're having fake flowers on the tables in vases) and then giving the vases to my cousins and wedding party. What I'm really wondering is, are favors expected? Can't everyone just take a napkin? Or does anyone know where I can find cheap favors or have ideas for cheap favors that aren't annoying (i.e. bells).

He has a good job and makes a very good living- he says that the only reason he's living with her is because the house is now in his name and he needs to "protect his investment". I think that's bullsh-- because he lived with her BEFORE the house was in his name.
Personality wise, he's very cocky and arrogant. A little too much I think, though I am attracted to him- he's very talented in alot of things- Say's he's got a fantastic life- doesn't need a wife, and from many perspectives I guess he does have a great life. He has someone to cook for him, he travels alot, etc. He says he needs to care for her.....I like him but I don't know if I can live up to mom (who by the way is terrible to me).

okay my best friend just got out of a 2 year relationship with a very abusive bf. she now says that shes is ready to move on and that makes me happy because she is finding someone who wont treat her like crap... now she has found a new guy that she really likes and he really likes her but i really dont know if its what she needs... shes like 7 years older than she is (shes 19) and he has a 2 year old child and a new born. and he also just got out of a realtionship with the mother recently & still always hangs out with her... how should i tell her i dont think its a good idea... or should i even do that and just leave it alone... me and her are the best of friends and we look out 4 each other and i really dont want to see her hurt again... what should i do!
