ok this guy comes into work and is really sweet.. says nice things and asks for a date (this happened on sat.) so we make plans to go for lunch at 1 today (wed.) he gives me his email and phone number... so I email him and he never emails me bck.. then i tryed to text him last night to make sure we were still on and he has not texted me back... so what the hell do i do.. go to the restaurant at 1 like we planned or take it that it is off since he has not gotten back to me?... I told him sat to let me know if anything changed but he just has not got in touch with me at all.. i expected him to come back into the store yesterday to confirm.. im confused at what to do. Would it be appropriate to call him at work to confirm in case i put his number in my phone wrong.. (and since i was nervous that would not surprise me) do i just call him quick and see if its still on or is that too forward... i just hate guessing at what i am doing for the day

If he gave you his work number I would call it and double check but if not you might seem a little stalkerish.

His lack of curtiousy is interesting, but not a good sign of things to come and rude of him to not reply and follow up with you. I think I might just blow the whole thing off and see what happens. He'll either get the message and make a better effort, or it'll be over before he ever got the chance to hurt you. Either way, you win. Better to have some self-respect and play a little hard to get, than chase after him.

well by now you have probably made your decision on what to do. personally who knows if you got the wrong no, but look at this if he was that interested he would come back to the store. maybe he got cold feet or maybe he has a girlfriend. you never know with guys. im sure you are a sweet beautiful girl. i would say move on don't even look back. please don't call him and confirm a date that makes you look weak from the start.

Just go to the restaurant, bring a book or something to read. Worst case scenario you have lunch by yourself and get some reading done as well.

DEFINITELY do not go! Men are wishy-washy. He may have changed his mind or even forgotten he asked you out. Don't contact him again. If he is that interested he will get in touch with you.

if he calls say damn i wanted to go but i didn't hear form you so i made other plans, and i can't go now.
he is being stupid as hell, and he either needs to get his act straight (next time) or leave you alone.
