So guys, say you talk to a girl for a length of time and are very into her, you call her lots and text etc. Ok date happens and its just not there for you and this is not a girl who lives close or that you have to see on a day to day basis. How do you handle her wanting more? If she text you, do you text back? Calls do you answer? I am the gal and my head tells me he was not into me but heart wants. I text and ask the have things changed he said no but sure doesn't contact as much? No lovey dovey text from him like in the past but does text and answer my text, have noticed the avoiding sweet words text but again he said no change and once when he couldn't talk even ask if he was in trouble? But why wouldn't he want to talk like in the past, pre date if it was there and if its not there then why not cut ties all together? I just don't like wondering and have ask but still left to wonder.

The thing is i do get it but hard to accept i guess but even still i wonder why is it so hard when i give him "outs" he doesn't take them? During date and a few days after he still acted all in but has declined acting as interested. He is not seeing anyone new, i do know this and claims to just be busy but i am smart enough to know when you want someone you make time. Just strange to me he wouldn't take the out ya know? Like when i ask if different? Why not just say kinda, i just think we make better friends, its not the answer i want but one i could respect and would save him me holding hope and trying with him. I am going to back off and agree thats right but just don't want to push away if by chance he really is still interested. I guess i wondered if some guys do back off some but still hold interest and maybe i was over thinking it.

Obviously he isn't into you. Sorry not trying to be rude just truthful. I think that maybe he is trying not to hurt your feelings. Which is just as rude because he is kinda stringing you along. Let him know that you can tell that things have changed since your date and that if he wants to see you or talk to you than he can contact you. Wait a week or so and see what happens. If you hear from him than you and I are both wrong and if not then at least your question has been answered and you can stop wasting your time on someone who doesn't deserve it. And find someone that is well worth your time and appreciates it!

i would suggest he enjoys your company but not as a romantic relationship or he could be polite and does not want to hurt you and wants to let you down easy
