She left me 5 months ago for a coworker and we divorced. We where highschool sweethearts and married for 14 years. She just came to pickup the kids and we had a very emotional talk for about an hour. I asked her if the grass was greener and she said no its just different. I asked how and she told me that he is more affectionate and I told her thats how we where when we met and after 16 years and two kids marriage is work. She was crying as well as me and it helped me to see why she left. I still hurt and having a very hard time moving on. we live in a small remote town and I feel so much pain still. How long does it take to get over your first love?

Everytime I go to tell my mother that I want to move out, and go live with one of my dad's first cousins (which is also my fathers legal residence address or w.e) she throws the cops in my face, saying if I leave she'll call them and what not, however, I have a friend who's mom is a social worker & she said that if I do move out & she does in fact call the police, all the police will do is show up at the house, ask if im ok to live there & if im happy or w.e and if im fine, leave it at that.

Does anyone know what would really happen? o.O

Divorce is what I'm talkin'bout.
When two individuals wanna get married they don't need to ask permission of any authority -legal or otherwise. Then why do they need the permission of legal authorities to dissolve the marriage?

The classic image is the guy pursuing and the girl saying 'No'. Things have changed alot nowadays, so I'm wondering if you ever have the luxury of saying 'No' to a female. Or do some things never change and you take it anyway you can.;-)

I'm intelligent, beautiful and nice girl. Sometimes i can be bithy, but only if i see that smn is trying to get rid of me. but the problem is that i don't have a boyfriend! and none of guys even pay attention on me. i'm good looking and stylish. i'm also quite slim (not a model, of course, but not a cow either!)
of course, i don't tell that anyone, i mean i'm quite exacting mto me, because i always see my "-". the only thing i can't understand is why no one pay attention on me???
at the same my classmates who are sometimes sluts who can sleep with guys soon after they meet. i'm not. i'm serious and i'm searching for steady relationships, i'm romantic and not very easy approachable.
but only guys who telephone me and who want to get in touch with me are ugly fat violin players or weak pseudo glamorous boys with no charisma and strength.
maybe i should change something in me?

Do you ever feel overly dependent on your spouse/significant other? Ecspecially if you worked b4 you met him/her? Do you ever wonder how you would leave, if you ever wanted or needed to?

She was shocked to see her daughter-in-law lying on the couch, totally naked. Soft music was playing; and the aroma of perfume filled the room. "What are you doing?" she asked. "I'm waiting for my husband to come home from work," the daughter-in-law answered. "But you're naked!" the mother-in-law exclaimed. "This is my love dress," the daughter-in-law explained. "Love dress? But you're naked!" " My husband loves me to wear this dress," she explained. "It excites him to no end. Every time he sees me in this dress, he instantly becomes romantic and ravages me for hours on end. He can't get enough of me." The mother-in-law left. When she got home, she undressed, showered, put on her best perfume, dimmed the lights, put on a romantic CD, and laid on the couch waiting for her husband to arrive. Finally, her husband came home. He walked in and saw her laying there so provocatively. "What are you doing?" he asked. "This is my love dress," she whispered, sensually. "Needs ironing," he said.

Hi everyeone. Let me explain:
My EX wanted to go to the bar 2 or 3 times per week. I said Ok, life's short, enjoy it, too bad I'm so overloaded with work, I'd love to come with you also. She told me that I should date other women. I said NO! She said it was ok with her if I had sex once with a lady but not to keep seeing her or it would be a relationship. I said I wasn't interested, but said "likewise" and gave her a box of condoms just in case she got hit on, I didn't want to catch anything. And not to get into a relationship with any guy or it would be over between her and me. Then I found out that she had been in a relationship (with sex) for over a year, and I demanded she stop seeing him or I'd bust his arms. She demanded a divorce. I filed for divorce and now she says its all my fault for giving her the go-ahead. I never did. I clearly explained that I loved her and I did not want her to miss all the good things in life. But no relationships! Was it my fault that she strayed?

My least favorite cousins are over at my house for the weekend (or longer) and I hate them. We have been hating each other since we were little kids. Now that I am older, and so are they, I want us to stop the hating and truce. I want to get along and have fun around them. I want to start acting nicer to them, but that is a big jump for me b/c I never did nice thing to or for them. But I am nervous and scared because I think he might think that I am a freak or I am weird. I want to get closer to him, but by taking small steps. thnx for your advice:)
