Quincey, if you don't like the idea of them telling you always then you could politely refuse sometimes.

Don't always give in. Sometimes you could make excuses and at other times you could go if you find the boy interesting.

Being host! yes you are expected to show courtesy but then maybe that boy is also here because his parents have told him that he has somebody his age in the host's home.

Give it a consideration, stay at home during get together, if you like the boy as a friend or would like to have friendship with. Go to your friends home during the party if you really don't want to.

Tell them...you prefer going out with boys that ask you out
because they find you attractive, not because their parents
tell them to..
Clue your own parents in that your not part of their business plan give aways.

If it makes you uncomfortable, then do not do it. Sure these people are important to your parents and their business, but I'm sure you're more important to them than that. Try and talk to your parents about it and make sure they understand your point of view. I'm sure they will understand.

Good luck, hun.

no. it is absolutely not alright. god, that is practically medievil.
it's even worse b/c it is with buisness clients. tell your parents you won't do it anymore and when the next one says something just tell them you make it a practice to never to go on blind dates or you don't think it's appropriate to mix buisness with pleasure.

If you like the boys than don't worry about it but if you don't let your mom know nicely.
