I mean,why be chicken and not say face to face,very nicely that he married?We`ve been apart for 2 years before he got married and we stayed good friends,so what`s his problem about telling me directly that he got married?why be a chicken and write an e-mail?

Guys don't really like being confronted directly and the telephone is pretty direct. He would have to hear your reaction then respond to whatever your reaction was right then and there. In an e-mail he can put his thoughts together carefully, he can respond when he gets ready too, while being emotionally distant at the same time. What if you had start crying or asked him why he do it because you still love him? He wouldn't have known how to respond to that. So to be on the safe side he sent a note. Don't hold it against him, its a guy thing.

I think it is thoughtful that he bothered to say anything. From what I can gather here, you might still have feelings for him, and as he knows that, he did what was more comfortable for him.

He really care's about you so don't get angry and mad he's just being a guy even if he is married he will always be your freind.

he's a coward

or the new wifey won't let him call you

either way, you know.. is the problem the way he told you or that he's married?

because men can be real cowards. you're lucky he told you at all. they don't always.
