hi, i want to start by saying i know that my decision will have to come from deep in my heart and im the only one that can make that decision.......i was just wanting others opinions on the subject. i tend to over react at times! my fiance and i have been together for five years and we have done alot to hurt one another in that time! for the past year and a half tho i thot we were putting everything behind us and starting over! i have three boys from a previous marriage and we have two boys together and a baby girl on the way (29 weeks pregnant). i thot that things were going good and that we were putting the past behind us and getting married this year (we have a wedding date set for the 23rd of this month). last night he comes out and tells me he has to be honest with me before we get married and bout a year and a half ago (maybe little longer) he messed around with a girl one night when we were fighting! i just dont know what to do now?! im so hurt and so confused at this point!!!

Ok, so...

my boyfriend and i have been dating for a while now. i dont approve of some things that he does, when he askes me what's bothering me i tell him and he doesnt care! like he smokes, and goes off with this girl who is one of his ex-girlfriends. when i tell him that this upsets me he just blows me off and says "get over yourself". i really like him and i'm willing to work things out. we have already broken up once, we started back up about a week or 2 ago. i'm trying to make it work but he isnt putting forth the effort. when there is a chance to hang out he doesnt, when there is a chance to go see a movie or dinner he goes out with his friends, or goes for a lil while and then leaves. i have no clue where he's going....what should i do??

My father thinks that anyone who is below his standards for normal is 'retarded'. This has always bothered me because I don't have as high of expectations of others as he does. In the past 6 months I have found out the reason I'm so different is due to being AS. Now I don't know how to tell my father that I'm what he considers 'retarded'. We met when I was 17 and have only recently (10 years later) gotten to really know each other. I am confident about who I am yet, at the same time, don't want my father to reject me or be disappointed in who I am. Please give me your advice. Thanks.

my dad and mom got a divorce when i was like 1 yr old. my best friend and i are very "popular"... but like we have many friends and a few boys here and there like us. but for some reason she is always one more better than me... are friendship has been a little bit "rocky" lately because i'm not sure if she is telling the complete truth about everything. we share everything..at least form what i know... but i'm not sure if things have been the same for us since the beginning...should i tell her how i feel?

I met a girl at a friends wedding a month ago - she seemed really positive & fun. she talked a fair bit (mostly about her) and i notice she kept sitting next to me, come to ask why i'm not on the dace floor with her, coming outside when I was..etc

she crossed my mind a few times since. I got her number from friends new wife, & gave her a call. She was driving at the time so I said I'd call her back in 15 she didn't answer. i text her to say i don't understand what i said in the matter of minutes to make her ignore me and that i would take it she is having a bad day. she text me to say she was having a bad day & that she would be free the next day should i wish to call. i was busy all week so i called her end of the week - no answer. i text her for the last time to contact me back when she is free. i gave her an option to prank me if she had no credit on her phone (she is poor). she text me a few days later apologising for not replying back sooner as she had no credit on phone.

I'm 20 years old, almost 21, and I drank/did drugs all throughout high school and early college years, and I don't enjoy doing either of those things anymore. All of my friends drink and party all the time and I feel really left out because I don't and I don't have fun being around a bunch of drunk people

I feel like I've lost all my friends cause they have fun without me and only talk to me to dump their problems on me or complain about other people.

girls are always saying that they are sexually attracted to personality traits, but they always seem to be talking about what they look for in a relationship. i really don'tthink girls are SEXUALLY attracted to a sense of humor or respect. A guy in his 60s can make jokes, but does that mean girls in their 20s will be all over him? a high school boy can also, but does that mean adult women will be all over him? to me, it seems like girls are attracted to popularity and talent, not personality, but only if the guy is not ugly by their standards. and they are always attracted to a good looking guy. how exactly does it work? what decides whether a guy will be sexually attractive to a girl or not.

I have been getting messages from my ex lately. First they were text messages just saying hi. I broke No Contact and responded to them. Then she sent me a message on Myspace saying that she was sorry about a phone call I got from some guy a week ago and stuff. I responded politely and just acted like it was no big deal. Then she sent me another message today asking me about where I was going to college because I never mentioned anything about it when we were going out. Then she said she was happy that i was doing good now and then she asked me if I met anyone new. First of all, she has a boyfriend so I don't know why she is going out of her way to talk to me. She is going away to college too and we were together for 2 years and I was her first, so I was a big part of her life. I don't think I can just be friends with her. I was just wondering what her intentions could be with these messages.

I have this problem. I thought it was nothing, and that she only did it because she was mad at me the one day. But then she did it again last night. Whenever we hang out with other people, well, her guy friends especially, she seems to have direct eye contact with them, and maintains it, but wont even look at me. It makes me so angry because to me eye contact means you are interested and that you care. Us 3, (me, my girlfriend and her guy friend) were standing in a triangle, she kept staring at him, whenever I would say anything she would just look around, and not at me, then instantly go back to staring at him and talking to him. So i try to move to face her, she sort of gives eye contact, but then the other guy moves so he is beside her, and she turns and is now facing him, making eye contact with him again. It hurts me because it makes me think she isnt interested or doesnt care what I have to say or anything. Can anyone explain this to me please? Or what any of it means? thanks.

I'm thinking about leaving my husband. What can I expect in terms of custody? We both want to be with the kids everyday, but obviously can't have it that way if we divorce.

When do you seek custody arrangements? Do you have have to have a legal custody arrangement? How often is joint custody given?

My boyfriend is 30. I am 27. We've been together for 3 years. He is a good guy, very ethical, definitely not a cheater. The one problem that we've been having, though, has to do with his relationships with other women. While I think it's fine to make new friends, of either sex, I have a problem with him going out to 1-on-1 dinners or on day trips (like skiing for a day) with his women friends, whom I don't know because I've never met them. He does not understand why this should make me upset, and I have trouble explaining it to him. What do you think? Am I being irrational? Serious responses only, please.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 year. We live together. A few days before our anniversary he searched for his ex-girlfriends email address and emailed her a few times. The little that he did talk about her was always very short and to the point- we do not talk anymore i am not itnerested. He was in an accident a few months back and apparently she tried to contact him to see how he was. He told me up front about it and that he couldn't care less. He said he did not respond to her. There were 3 emails dating to a few days b4 our anniversary to her. they just said the basic, hi how are you, where are you now. She is currently overseas for awhile. I am not sure why he would contact her and hide it from me. This has been the 3rd time he has been sneaky behind my back so i broke up with him. Now he is begging for me back. i cant tell if its just cause i pay rent or if its for real anymore. Usually he will not apologize 1st, but this time he did. what should i do????

I have visited her family a few times and they do not like me because I am Asian. They have shown distaste for our relationship. I know they are quite proud to be white in Scandanavia. Is there anyway I can change her family's mind about me? I have never done anything to be dishonorable towards her family. The only reason her family does not like me is because I am Asian. It frustrates me very much because they make me feel like I am not worthy of my wife and I am starting to feel that way and it makes me depressed. We have some cool things, like 1 high def tv, 3 DVR's, a laptop and 2 desktop computers, MOTO KRZR cell phones, 4 seperate phone lines, 5 cell phones, 6 ipods total (i hav 3) but we dont go on too many vacations and they OFTEN talk about how everything is so expensive and how they need more money. They also joke about how everything should be cheap and shirts should be 2 dollars. And whenever i want to buy sumthing, they say no and that it is too expensive and that we really need money. Are they kinda wealthy and just are obsessed w/ saving money and are amazed at the cost of living. I know for a fact that they (combined) make over 100K, maybe 105K, 110K. Are they rich?
