I have this problem. I thought it was nothing, and that she only did it because she was mad at me the one day. But then she did it again last night. Whenever we hang out with other people, well, her guy friends especially, she seems to have direct eye contact with them, and maintains it, but wont even look at me. It makes me so angry because to me eye contact means you are interested and that you care. Us 3, (me, my girlfriend and her guy friend) were standing in a triangle, she kept staring at him, whenever I would say anything she would just look around, and not at me, then instantly go back to staring at him and talking to him. So i try to move to face her, she sort of gives eye contact, but then the other guy moves so he is beside her, and she turns and is now facing him, making eye contact with him again. It hurts me because it makes me think she isnt interested or doesnt care what I have to say or anything. Can anyone explain this to me please? Or what any of it means? thanks.

oh honey honey. It could mean 2 things:
a) she's not interested in you or
b) you're making her uncomfortable

about a) If she really doesn't look at you or aknowledge you anymore, then she might not even like you anymore. I know it sucks, but it could be true. THE BEST THING IS TO TALK TO HER. TELL HER.
My boyfriend used to feel the same way but he didn't tell me for nearly 3 months! And I really wished he would have told me sooner. but he and I worked it all out and now we're okay.
If she is maintaining eyecontact and acting flirty around other guys, she might now be interested in you anymore. HOWEVER this may not be true!! read on!

b) this is what I think is really going on: you are making her uncomfortable. When my boyfriend and I started going out, he was soooooo clingy. And I mean SOOOOO clingy. It almost made me break up with him. It sounds like you're being too in-her-face. Like when you wrote "So i try to move to face her, she sort of gives eye contact, but then the other guy moves so he is beside her, and she turns and is now facing him." That shows me that it's just a weird and uncomfortable situation. Just hang out with her one-on-one.

And it sounds like that other guy is interested in her! So watch out!!

p.s. I do this to my boyfriend sometimes, like if I have a zit on my face. It's so embarrassing so I try to avoid him a little bit because I feel ugly.

BEST THING - like I said - IS TO TALK TO HER ABOUT IT. Don't feel dumb, it could save you both!

whew! good luck buddy.

Well, if she has any idea how your feel about the subject, then she's probably annoyed. Eye contact does show when a person cares or is interested. Usually in the topic at hand. Rarely have i ever come across someone who likes me staring at me, usually they try to avoid eye contact because it can be taken offensivly and give off other signals of their interest. Maybe you should rethink your methods. And check your jealousy. Last thing a woman wants is a jealous boyfriend unless it's needed. Honetly if i were this 2nd guy, i'd take advantage of your jealousy, If i wanted your girl. In other words your digging your own grave in the relationship by letting that be a problem. You also might want to find a very docile woman, with no friends of the opposite sex. Or maybe even no friends at all. A healthy relationship has equality, if 1 person is overbaring, then it will end with problems. My personal opinion you should remain single untill you can get in touch with yourself a bit more.

are you sure that this is "your" girlfriend? The fact that she was more interested in the other guy is a sure tell sign that something is not right. You are right to be concerned. And why was there another guy with you in way where was his girlfriend? You know the old saying two is company and three is a crowd especially when he gets more attention that you. Check your girl or better yet check your friend.

she doesn't have eye contact? well she is either still mad @ you for whtever you did...or she isn't interested. if you think she is still mad then talk to her and ask her whts going on and why..if you think she isn't interested then...you need to talk to her and make the decision between:

a)keeping her
b)dumping her

she also might be trying to make you jealous. you can only get the answer by talking to her.

every person flirts slightly- people who say they do no longer are liars. actuality is, she is with you, and relationships require have confidence. in case you do no longer have confidence her, the courting is the two very youthful, or its no longer likely to artwork. If he's as handsome as you think of then possibly she enjoys flirting with him slightly- would not advise there is something in it in any respect however. it style of sounds like she is knocking him returned whilst he's making advances- in accordance with what you have shown us. do no longer knock your self down pal.. she is YOUR lady pal so she is obviously attracted to you... If in the top it seems she is a mendacity bi-atch.. do no longer enable it get to you the two.. circulate on.. there are certainly advantageous ladies accessible.
